The Christmas Tag

I was tagged by Naomi from notaperfectparent to do the Christmas Tag so here goes!

Caesar loves the Christmas tree rather a lot!

Beauty | Ole Henrikson Brightening Cleansing Cloths

Spending £12 on a pack of face cloths may seem a little bit to much however the Ole Henrikson cloths have changed my mind on using wipes ever again. The difference with a cloth is it's much stronger and holds more product to use on the face whilst a face wipes is thinner and you will need to use a few to remove a full days worth or dirt and grime.

Beauty | Best Of The Glitter Nail Varnishes

This year I've gone  a little over board with the glitter nail varnishes and wanted to share my favorite with you today!

Tanya Burr - Carnival Night
This polish looks like the perfect going out to a party polish, with pretty rainbow glitter specks and lovely berry toned purple polish it's one of my go to uplifting shades. I normally wear this to parties over the festive period and love how it looks on. It was available in the advent calendar from 2015 but you can find it online from £2 up!

Book Review | Girl Online Going Solo

Another brilliant book from the Author Zoe Sugg or as the internet knows her Zoella, this is the third installment from the Girl Online series which has been a brilliant capturing series to go for. The series of books follows the life of a young adult through her ups and her downs, from panic attacks to bullying and love it's a great book for all ages.

Beauty | Sukin Anti-Pollution Facial Masque

With no added oils, parabens, fragrances or colours this vegan friendly masque works wonders for the skin and feels amazing on. For just £8 from Boots it's worth the price tag , it's a clay based masque so has a nice fresh earthy scent to it but also with added willowherb and rooibos tea it's got a lovely subtle flower scent which makes it a really lovely masque.

Lifestyle | The Perfect Sunday

I'm a big believer in spending a least one day a week relaxing and spending a little moi time on myself, this is a great way to relax and hit the reset button before a nothing busy and stressful week. I tend to have my perfect days on Sundays and take pleasure in relaxing.

I start my days with a long relaxing shower and use my favorite products included a hair mask and a face mask, I place enough body butter on to keep me going a month then my favorite snuggled clothes to keep me cosy and warm all day.

Beauty | Superberry Mud Mask

I'm not going to say no to picking up a new face mask for 26p am I, course not so I was over the moon to see Superdrug have some of my favorites in the clearance section of course this means I can no longer buy them so I naturally bought all 4!

Beauty | Products I'm Loving

Rimmel 610 High Flyer Matte Lipstick
This lipstick hasn't left my bag for a while as I've been wearing it none stop, for only £6.99 it's a great affordable high street lipstick. It looks amazing on the lips as a dark rose shade that looks great in photos but also looks amazing as a dress up or dress down lipstick. It's a Matte shade but doesn't dry the lips out which is a massive plus for me!

Book Review | Stephen King Revival

I don't often fall in love with a book but I enjoyed reading the Stephen King book so much it 100% deserves a blog post. I read this book over the last month and couldn't put it down with it's gripping story line which has a massive twist and change I could hardly stop reading.

Nails Inc Tate Polish

As I buy Glamour magazine each month I always get surprised and happy to see it featuring a gift, they do several issues a year which contains top end beauty gifts such as the Nails Inc Tate Polish. For only £2 you are also coming away with a £14 nail polish which is a pretty good offer that no one can say no to!

Garnier Skin Active Moisture Bomb Mask

I'm always one to try out new mask and I've had one sat waiting to be used for quite a while now, it's the Garnier Skin Active Moisture Bomb which is a great brand to go for if you want affordable skin care that actually works.

My Skincare Routine

I struggle a lot with my skin and I'm always trying new products and new tips/tricks on how to deal with my skin, luckily I've managed to get my skin care routine perfect for me and wanted to share what products I use and also what works best for me. I have combination skin going from oily to dry and sometimes both, I also suffer with bad breakouts and spot scarring.

First up my moisturiser which is the Nivea Oil Free Day cream which I use every morning and then the sensitive night cream which I use each evening. These are no scented creams that come in small handy 50ml bottle that are perfect to travel with and also fit nicely into my case. They go nicely onto the skin and take a while to sink in but once there on the skin and sunk in it leaves my skin feeling fresh and nourished.

How To Deal With A Fringe/Bangs

I've had a fringe for around a month now and love it but I've found some struggles with it and wanted to do a post today to let you know some helpful tips on how to deal with a fringe or bangs!

Avon Magic Effects Fringe Nail Polish

I'm always looking at nail art and love when I discover a new nail polish, so I was happy to see Avon has a Fringe effect nail polish that works well and looks great on the nails. This polish is available in around 4 different other shades but I went for a classic silvery gold design.

Fudge Urban Hair Art Review

My days of dying my hair is over as my hair is in such a great condition that I don't want to ruin it, that doesn't mean I don't want to not try out new amazing colours though. So I was very happy to see a spray in hair chalk that is super easy to use and had some amazing colours to pick from.

Life With Depression

I've been open about having anxiety before but never to open about my Depression which still affects me to this day. I was diagnosed with stress, anxiety and depression when I was 15 years old and now that I'm 25 it's still with me and still effects me. I was extremely ill when I was 15 up until around 17 and I wanted to share what happened, how I overcome it and also why I still have it.

So it started at 15 when I would feel really awful about myself and I felt like I was worthless, no one liked me and no one wanted me to be here. This was untrue I had friends, family who loved me and I was not worthless, however my mind told me I was and I believed it. TRIGGER WARNING I began to self harm which was me cutting my arms to the point where I began to enjoy it, I liked the feeling of cutting my skin and didn't want to stop due to enjoying it.

At 16 after hating myself for a year something major happened which effects me badly to this day, I was in school and something changed it was like a switch went in my brain and I couldn't breath everything went funny and I went lightheaded before almost being sick, I thought I was going to pass out and thought I was having a heart attack, this was the start of my panic attacks.

I had this so bad I was pulled from school and to this day I hate them, I can't go near a school and I can never go in one. This made me go silent and not talk to anyone my mum noticed right away and took me to the doctors, I was placed on anti depressants and this was the start of getting better. I was told to go to counselling and I started to smile more and feel like I was suppose to be here.

This carried on for several years I would be happy and then awfully sad. I would go on tablets and then off them, I would cut and then heal again. It was a never ending cycle of hating myself then being so happy, it confused people which made me feel odd.

I learnt to hide it and learnt to make myself happy to keep people from asking questions, I kept up with my doctors appointments and one day I realised I was no longer faking being happy, I was actually happy. I had nice friends, a good job, a loving family and also hobbies which made me happy and I suddenly stopped taking tablets, stopped speaking to doctors and stopped hurting myself.

I want to end this post saying I'm better but I can't as I don't want to lie, I get low all the time and get restless, worried, my anxiety fits back, I panic, I don't talk and I hate myself but I always pull through knowing it's only going to last a few days. Family notice and always give me space, friends take note and always reassure me it's going to be fine, this works for me and I'm so grateful for that.

To keep myself from going back to being ill I always keep myself busy, writing a blog helps and also travelling helps me a lot. I keep busy and take the time I need to heal and rest before going back to life again, it's important to do this just to restart,

If you have been affected by this post you can email me directly at jessb1991@gmail.com you can go to this website here, thank you x

The London Tea Company

I'm a big tea lover and drink almost all types of tea but one brand has really stuck out for me and that is The London Tea company, I first saw of this brand in a Bloggers event where I was given a tin of there tea as well as some handy sachets of tea bags.

Avon True Colour Eyeshadow Warm Cashmere

I'm never one to make a fuss over eye products as I have the worse eyes ever, with almond shaped eyes it's very hard to find the right products to suit my eyes. However I loved this eye shadow duo and wanted to try it out on my eyes to see if it was any good, I was pleasantly surprised to see how well it blended and suited my eyes as well as how well it stayed put.

Oh So Good Chocolate

Being on a diet means you have to cut out most fatty foods which includes chocolate, I don't have a massive sweet tooth but every now and then I do enjoy a small amount of chocolate. I went looking for some and came across the brand Oh So Good Chocolate, I had never seen the brand before and was excited to see it was low in calories and quite affordable at just £2.99 on offer in Boots.

Maybelline Dream Matte Mouse

When you say Dream Matte Mouse it takes you back to your teens years and reminds you of the 2000's, however I've made the decision to re purchase the foundation due to being let down from so many other brands in the past. I used this foundation for at least two years before switching to a handful of foundations that didn't suit me well as all!

Avon Super Extend Liquid Eye Liner

I don't tend to wear much eyeliner as I never seem to get it right or it always smudges leaving me looking odd, however I wanted to try out the Avon liquid eyeliner as I had heard some great things about it.

Soap and Glory Make Yourself Youthful CC Fluid

I was after a foundation which looked good in photos at giving me a youthful and carefree complexion, so after doing my research I settled on buying the Soap and Glory CC fluid which was on offer at my local Boots.

Witch Naturally Clear Blemish Stick

I will never say no to trying out a new spot product so I was happy to see a Witch Blemish Stick reduced to clear in my local Superdrug, it was the special edition Marie Curie design which comes in a really cute packaged design that is girly and pretty to use.

Music Review - J Gatsby

A bit of a different post for you today, I've been wanting to do another music review for a while now but I was waiting for the right artist to come along then of course I found J Gatsby! I first discovered him in the popular vlog channel Dudesons Vlog , his fun and kind personality makes it hard to not like him but his quick wit and on the spot rapping makes it hard to not love him!

Kiko Milano Wet and Dry Eyeshadow 221

I'm not one to fall in love with an eyeshadow due to my awkward almond shaped eyes but shopping in Kiko Milano I came across a gorgeous eyeshadow from the wet and dry range. The colour really drew me in and the look off the product really made me want to purchase it.

Paperchase Blogger's Journal

Browsing my local Paperchase I came across a Blogger's Journal this is the first blogger's journal I have found and I'm yet to see any others in stores and was happy to see my favorite store for all things journal related stocking a journal especially for blogger's!

Kiko Milano Outdoor Bronzer

I'm getting more and more into contouring and I'm still after the perfect bronzer, I was browsing my local Kiko Milano store and came across the Outdoor range which includes the 01 Technical Honey. This bronzer is a large 25g product so it's not one to take out the house but still works great, it also comes with a large mirror so if you do take it out with you it's very easy to re apply.

A/W16 H&M Jumpers

I have been craving Autumn so bad over the last few days that I went out and purchase three new jumpers for A/W16, I was happy to see most stores have there Autumn ranges out and the most impressive so far has been H&M. I went in and picked up two £5.99 jumpers and a £12.99 one which will look perfect leading up to winter.

This soft grey 'Team Internet' design is perfect for any Vlogger or Blogger so I naturally picked one up, this was the £12.99 jumper but it's worth it.

Lush Modfather Bubble Bar

This limited edition fathers day bubble bar was one of my favorites that I've used and I really wish I had picked up a few more and not just one. Fathers day was a while ago now but this Mod inspired bubble bar was the perfect gift for any father, it's bright colours and strong scent were perfect.

Kiko Milano Smooth Temptation 02

One of my favorite lip products in my trusty Kiko Milano Smooth Temptation as the pigmentation is amazing, it's long lasting and looks great on the lips. So it was only natural for me to pick up another shade from the range, I went with 02 which is a pretty barbie pink.

Urban Decay B6 Prep Spray

I have to admit to never trying any of the Urban Decay products, it's not that I dislike the brand it's just I like to stick to brands that I know and love. However I was browsing the stand and came across a setting spray which I was on the look out for and decided to purchase the one from Urban Decay to test out the brand, for only £10 it's a little on the pricey side but 100% worth it!

Kiko Milano Skin Evolution Foundation Review

I'm always on the hunt for a new foundation and couldn't pass on the offer of a Kiko Milano foundation for £6.60 reduced from £12. The make up in Kiko Milano is amazing and the products never fail to amaze me, it's great quality and affordable whilst still being on trend.

Tea Tree and Witch Hazel With Active Charcoal

MakeUp Revolution Oil Control Fixing Spray

In the summer I tend to go make up free or attempt to keep my makeup on with Primers and Fixing Sprays, this year I've picked up a new one from Makeup Revolution which is the oil control fixing spray. At £5 it's a great affordable spray to go, available from Superdrug.

Going From Full Time To Part Time

Finding a full time job has got to be one of the hardest things I had to do in my retail career, so when I put my notice in at work I was questioned by everyone who knows me as to why I had given up a 40 hour job to go for a 14 hour job. Today I wanted to do a blog post on my reasons why and also explain my plans for the future.

The location of the full time job is 2 miles from my house and all local buses have decided to stop running as of a few days ago meaning I have to now walk 4 miles each day just to work. I had already tried learning to drive and don't enjoy bike riding so my only option is to walk which I really don't enjoy especially leaving at 7.30am and then getting home at 9.30pm. I shall now be working in town which is a 20 minute walk from my house.

Another reason is feeling tired all the time, with work making me do 9-6 one day and then 11-8 then next my body clock is all over the place and makes me feel very groggy all the time. I shall now be working between the hours of 9-6 which suits me and my grogginess well.

I never had time to do anything and live my life which was making me feel low and causing me emotional distress. I like to keep very busy so now my average hours with overtime is 20 I shall be able to do more things and focus so more on my vlog and also my blog.

So that is pretty much the low down of why I have gone from full time to part time, this mean I shall be blogging more and going to more events as well as being able to work alongside more PR's which I'm looking forward to. I have lots planned with my blog which can now fall into place and happen.

Have any of you gone from full time to part time, how did you cope?

Moo Business Cards

I've been writing my blog now for nearly three years and have never got around to printing and owning my own business cards. So after booking tickets to a blog event in August I thought it was only right to get my hands on some cards. I have heard loads about Moo and how they are a great company to go for so I opted to go with them based on there good reputation.

Maybelline Master Contour V-Shape Duo Stick

Contouring is pretty much a must when it comes to me doing special make up or if I'm going out so getting it right is an important task, I'm always browsing new products and love finding new ones so when I spotted one from Maybelline I had to pick one up.

Blogosphere Summer Party

It's been a while since I have attended a bloggers event so I was a little nervous when approaching the Blogosphere Summer Party but was put at ease straight away with a warm welcome from Alice and Albertine. The event had some lovely sponsors London Tea and JewlleryBox who had some lovely stands with lots of goodies to look at and purchase.

SS16 Nails - Most Worn

This Summer I've been loving light pastel shades on my nails and have decided to share what I've been wearing just like my last post on my lips. So here are my four most worn nail polishes of Spring and Summer 2016!

Barry M Speedy Quick Dry Nails
My most worn has been the Barry M speedy range which has some amazing light summer shades all of which are quick drying. I was very surprised when trying the range as I didn't think they would actually dry quickly but they do! There also very affordable which is great and they always on offer which is even better.

SS16 Lips - Most Worn

This Summer I've been using three lip products the most and have decided to share them with you, I've picked out two lipsticks and a lip gloss so there is something for everyone in this post!

Rimmel Kate Moss Lip Loving Balm

I'm always looking at protecting my lips and using the latest lip products which claim to be the best, so whilst I was browsing my local Superdrug I came across the Kate Moss Lip Conditioning Balm which looks very much like a lip stick but it's a balm instead. At just £5.49 it is a bit on the pricey side but I managed to get it on offer being free when I spent £8 or more on other Rimmel products.

Lush Honey Bee Bath Bomb

Honey Bee is the type of bath bomb that is overlooked due to people either not liking the look of it or the smell, at just £3.50 it's a great price to pay. The scent of Honey Bee is a mix of honey and orange with a smell of toffee to, it's a very hit and miss product as if you are not a fan of the scent then it's really not worth purchasing the product.

Bourjois BB Gloss 5in1 02

Bourjois is a brand I've heard loads about but never really picked up a product from there range, but I was browsing my local TKMaxx and came across a BB Gloss from the brand and decided to pick one up. I went for the shade 02 which is for medium skin tones, I like the idea of having this skin tone numbering as sometimes it's hard to pick the right lip gloss for your skin type.

Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil Review

I'm a sucker for magazine freebie so was happy to see in this months Elle magazine for just £3.99 a Benefit Goof Proof Pencil which is normally priced at £18.50. Included in the magazine was two free eye brow waxing appointments which is always great to have at getting the brows looking good before applying any products.

Garnier Ambre Solaire Dry Mist Review

In the summer months it's important to protect the skin and keep your body healthy, I normally use body lotions with spf in but I opted this year to go with the new Garnier Ambre Solaire Dry Mist spray with is a sun protection but in a spray can design.

Zoella Beauty Bath Latte Review

Another review from the new Zoella Beauty Sweet Inspirations range today, in the form of the Bath Latte which costs a purse friendly £6. The new range is selling out fast but can be bought from Superdrug online or in store.

Zoella Body Fondant Review

Zoella Beauty is a brand from the Youtuber Zoe Sugg and has been around for well over a year now, but Zoe keeps adding new lines to the brand every six months or so. This time around it is the Sweet Inspirations which is a sweet scented blue and gold range which looks impressive on the shelves and is the right price!

Tanya Burr Galaxy Eye Palette

I didn't really need a new eye shadow palette but once I had glance at this Tanya Burr one I just had to buy it. The packaging is spot on, the eye shadow is spot on and the price is spot on! so it's a win win situation for me and this product. At just £6 for 4 eye shadows it's a great affordable palette to pick up, available at Superdrug it's worth going in just to take a peak at the product.

Tea Tree Oil and Spot Stick

I never thought I would see the day of me having to go make up free for several weeks due to a massive breakout. This breakout of spots was so bad it was painful and got me really worried, I don't have any photos of it which has annoyed me so much as I would of loved to do a before and after shot!
