Nip and Fab Mango Smoothie Body Butter Review

I had not heard of Nip and Fab before receiving the Mango Smoothie Body Butter in my April Glossybox. My first thought was oh no! as I am not a fan of Mango scented product's but this one smell's amazing. It's extremely thick and soothing for my skin, I also noticed it did smooth out some or my dry area's especially on my hands.

When I applied it to my skin it did really like it wasn't going to sink it but after a good five minutes it was all soaked in and I could get dressed. The smell seem's to last on my skin all day which I really liked and I also got a compliment from a work colleague who said I smelt nice that day!

I will defiantly be purchasing the full size product and will be having a little look at the other Nip and Fab product's, do you have any you think I should check out?

Soap and Glory Review's Body Scrubs, Butter and Arch De Triumph

I don't own many Soap and Glory product's but when I went shopping for some holiday bit's and bob's I noticed they had a mini collection so I picked up some scrubs. Then while I was shopping I also noticed an offer 'spend £10 or more and receive a free body butter' So I also picked up a body butter and a eyebrow pencil.

The mini's are fantastic, They smell amazing and leave my skin feeling so soft, while scrubbing on my skin I was worried it would scratch as it's quite a harsh formula but it was completely opposite, it soothed and relaxed my skin. I went back recently and picked up a large bottle of one of the scrub's as both my mini's had nearly run out.

The free body butter was the five fruit one, which smells divine. It is really thick but smooth's onto my skin really well, it also really soothes my skin after a hot bath. The product also seem's to last for ever, I've been using it for a good 2 week's now and it still seem's as full as when I brought it!

Lastly one of my favorite product's I purchased last month was the Arch De Triumph eyebrow pencil, which has 2 side's a eyebrow shaper and then a highlighter. This product is fantastic,  The shaper blends so well and has an easy build able coverage, while the highlighter is great for blending and if you go wrong it smudges off really well.

I will defiantly be purchasing some more Soap and Glory product's, do you have any favorites?

Boots Tea Tree and Witch Hazel Review

Tea Tree and Witch Hazel for me is one of my favorite scent's, While shopping for some new skin care product's I came across a range in boot's which has the Tea Tree and Witch Hazel scent and won't break the bank.

I've purchased the following product's over the last few months:

Spot Wand - £3.56
Peel Of Mask - £2.99
Shine Control Day Moisturizer- £3.59
Night Gel - £2.99
Cleansing and Toning Lotion - £3.59

The spot wand is a fantastic product, I get spot's quite a lot and this little wand works wonder's. It come's with 2 side's a day spot cream and also the night spot cream, I can honestly say this product's has 100% helped clear up some nasty little spot's. It work's straight away and is easy to use under or over make up as it doesn't have an extra shine to it.

The peel of mask I purchased quite a while ago but I am a massive fan of peel of mask's but can't seem to find any anywhere. This one has a lovely scent not to overpowering but enough to relax you, the mask soften's your skin and leaves it feeling refreshed .

The shine control day moisturizer works wonders! It leaves my skin feeling amazing and absorbs straight away. The scent is quite strong but it does tone down a little after a few minutes of so. But the best thing about this product is you can wear it under your make up, I love this product I think it must be my favorite out of them all.

The night gel is great, it is a little runny though so instead of applying it by hand I use a little cotton wool. It goes on lovely though and you can feel it working all night, but when you wake up in the morning it has all soaked in which is great, as there is nothing worse then waking up with gel all over your pillow and face!

And lastly the cleanser and toner lotion which has been great, it removes my make up and does a great job making my face feel refreshed. The one thing I would say is don't forget to read the small print and don't rub it in your eyes, Big mistake I made when I first tried it!

So I would defiantly recommend these product's if you have spot prone skin like me.

My Make Up Routine SS13

At the moment I think I have a pretty good make up routine all apart from my foundation which I can't seem to get right, I picked up an adorable tin from Paperchase for £5, It is quite small and only just fit's all my item's in but it's to cute to replace.

I start by using my MUA primer which I picked up after reading on Sprinkleofglitter's Blog, it's a great product and prepare's my skin well before I apply my Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation. Which is a lovely product, it blends well and has a build able cover- although I don't think it's really right for my skin. I then use Collection 2000 stick concealer which is a must buy if you have bad spot scarring like me!

I then use my Rimmel Stay Matte powder which again is great, it last's all day and covers my foundation lovely. I also apply blusher again from the Rimmel range which I find are really easy to blend and have an amazing build able coverage.

I recently brought a product from Soap and Glory range called the Arch De Triumph, which was a great buy a bit expensive but it is a great little eye brow pencil. I have also been using for ages now since my teen's the Natural Collection mascara, I started using this product at school and can't seem to find a replacement product so I have stuck with it.

Lastly I spritz my face with MUA magic mist which set's your face against wind and rain etc. I love this little bottle and am extremely glad I pick it up!

Here is a price list for all the item's featured above:
Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation - £6.99
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder - £3.99
Rimmel Blusher- £3.99
MUA Fixing Mist- £5.00
MUS Primer- £4.00
Soap and Glory Arch De Triumph-  £8.00
Natural Collection Mascara-  £1.99
Colletion 2000 Concealer-  £2.99

Here's the finish result's -

Essie Nail Lacquer Geranium Review

I only received my Essie Nail Lacquer in my April Glossybox a few day's ago but I already love it, The shade I got was Geranium which is an orange toned red, which is a lovely spring shade for people that don't like pastel's.

I applied 2 coats and a top coat, my sister applied only one coat and we both noticed that I really didn't need the second coat as it goes on really well. The scent isn't over powering and my nail's dried quite quick. The only downside was it has quite a large brush, which is ok for all my other nail's apart form my little nail's which I had to use a cotton bud to remove some polish which had gone onto my skin!

I really do love this nail lacquer and will defiantly be purchasing some more shade's, the price £7.99 may be on the overpriced range but as it goes on well and last's I don't mind splashing out the cash!

Do you own any shade's from the Essie Range? Let me know!

Barry M Nail Art Pen

I was on the look out for a nail art pen and was set on buying the Topshop version but then while I was in Superdrug I came across one from the range Barry M priced at £4.99.

I've been trying out a few design's and so far my favorite has to be little dot's, I had quite a few nice comment's while I had the little dot design. I have also tried out large spot's, heart's and swirls but I didn't photograph them!

The only downside is they only come in 4 colour's white, black, pink and silver. I went for the black one and also picked up a white paint. I would love a red nail art pen or maybe a purple.

Have you tried the new Nail Art Pen's, what did you think?

Lush You've Been Mangoed Review

After having a very busy and hard day today I thought it was finally time to use my luxury bath melt from Lush. Priced at just £3.10 it was a great buy.

For me smelling it before placing it into my bath it wasn't to strong, but once I had placed it into my bath and it started to dissolve the smell was so strong and relaxing. It had a really nice mango smell but also a really nice citrus scent which I adored! It was the kind of scent which really relaxed me and made me feel at ease.

While I was in the bath it made my skin feel quite oily  almost like I had just put body butter on and jumped into the bath. But after I had got out and dried myself my skin felt so refreshed and soothed. It didn't leave an overpowering smell on my skin like I would of like it to but then it had so many good point's it didn't bother me to much =]

I can't wait to repurchase this product as well as the Mmmelting Marshmellow moment on my next shopping trip! Have you tried You've Been Mangoed, what did you think?

Lush Stepping Stone Review

I had a look on the Lush Website to see if I could get any product's to help my feet get into summer mode. I was really interested in buying the Stepping Stone after reading the reviews and as it was only £2.95 it wasn't going to break the bank.

I used mine by breaking a piece of, crumbling it between my hand's and then rubbing over my feet, especially in the dry area's. I would then leave it on for around 3-5 minute's and simply wash it of.

My feet after did feel amazingly smooth and felt really refreshed, but apart from that it didn't do much. The smell was divine and filled the bathroom, which was nice. My feet also felt really soft for around 2 day's and then I felt the need to reapply the foot mask.

I don't think I will be re purchasing this product again. But will be looking into more Lush Feet product's.
Have you brought the Stepping Stone, What did you think?

Lush The Immaculate Eggception - Little Chick Surprise!

I recently did a review on Lush's Immaculate Eggception Bath Bomb. Once I had cracked it open there was a little chick inside which was adorable!

So finally today I used my little chick surprise, the scent was lovely it smelt almost like a lemon/lime scent. It made my bath a lovely yellow colour, which I hadn't seen with many product's from Lush. Also the middle bit of the egg was actually a small piece of jelly lime! Which was a lovely little extra.

It left my skin feeling really soft and smelling amazing, So I will most defiantly be re purchasing this next Easter!

Did you enjoy your surprise Chick in your Bath Bomb? Let me know!

Primark Make Up Brushes Review

Whenever I go to Primark I usually just have a look at the clothes or home section, but I was on the hunt for some new make up brushes and didn't want to pay to much for them. The first thing I noticed was they have a lovely pink end and they are quite small which is ideal as I don't have a massive make up bag.

I picked up a blusher brush and a foundation/concealer brush both priced at £1.50. Once I had taken them out of the secure packaging, which is great if you don't want people touching your brushes before you used them! The top of the brush (the pink bit) is so soft and feel's amazing on my skin, the brush is sturdy and doesn't feel like it will break.

I use my blusher brush as a powder brush. It picks up the powder really well and spread's it over my face evenly, The end of the brush is quite large so I wouldn't use it as a blusher brush but for everyday powder I can't fault it.

I use my foundation and concealer brush with a liquid foundation and collection 2000 stick concealer  the spread really evenly and the brushes are great for blending. I find I have to wash them every 2 week's or so, but when I do they clean up really well.

So for me I have finally found a make up brush set that I love, And for £1.50 I can't really go wrong!

Do you have any brush set's you can't live without? Let me know!

Lush - The Immaculate Eggception Review

I was rather excited to try this bath bomb as it was so big and smelt amazing, On the review's it said to split it into several piece's and to use one piece per bath. But I decided to just place all the shell into my bath and save the little chick surprise for another bath.

Once you crack open your egg pick out your surprise of either a bunny or chick, then place some or all of the bath bomb into your warm bath and let it fizz. The first thing I noticed was the smell, it was amazing so strong and fruity I really did love it.

It left my skin feeling really soft and smelling lovely. I will defiantly be buying this product next year as it is a Easter special. You can either buy a pink one or yellow one and they cost £6.95 from Lush which is expensive for a bath bomb but as you get at least 2-4 baths out of it, it is worth it!

Have you tired the Immaculate Eggception this year, what were your thoughts?

March Empties and All About April

This month I only have 4 product's I've used up and they have all been amazing.

My favorite product has been my Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel which unlucky for me only come's out every year for Christmas. If anyone know's of a dupe product of this please let me know! I love the scent and how my skin has lovely glitter specks all over after using this product.

My second favorite being Neutrogena Spot Stress Control, It has been amazing on my skin and has cleared up some nasty breakout's but when I went back to Saver's to repurchase it they no longer had that version, so I had to settle with Neutrogena Gentle Exfoliating Wash. Which I haven't tried yet but hopefully it will be just as good.

I have also just finished my second pot of Rimmel Match Perfection which has been amazing but I hate the fact it only last's a month. I was really looking for a foundation to last up to 3 months. So I have now bought a new foundation which is working well, Review to come soon!

My last empty is Nivea Body Lotion which I got as a Christmas present and have only just used it up. It has been a great lotion, always making my skin feel soft and nourished but I love my lotion and potions to be scented so I have opted for a Soap & Glory product rather then repurchasing this lotion.

All About April!

So for April my plan is to use up as many product's as I can, as my cupboard is getting more and more full but I'm hardly using any of it! So I will be doing some lovely in depth reviews on products and letting you know how well I get on with using them up.

Let me know if you have your Empties blog up yet so I can have a little look,
