Beauty | Soap and Glory Blaze Of Glory Lip Gloss

I normally stay clear of Soap and Glory makeup as it always looks so beautiful but it is out of my price range, so when I saw an £8 lipstick in there clearance section for £1 I wasn't going to leave it there was I! I picked up there Spectaculips Galactic Glaze lip gloss in the shade Blaze Of Glory and was very excited to see what it looked like on.

Beauty | Soap and Glory Girls Con-Tour

Priced at £14 this five piece contour set is one that I've been reaching for over the last few weeks, it's a perfect travelling set and always great to have in my bag for on the go touch ups. I was really impressed with how much I got for the price I paid and would happily purchase it again.

Beauty | My Favorite Nudes

When it comes to finding the perfect everyday nude beauty product it can get very stressful as there seems to be loads out there and they all claim to be the perfect one. Here's a list of my favorite beauty nude items:

For lipstick is has to be my Soap and Glory Super Nude which is a matte toned basic beige lipstick that looks impressive on the lips to give it a natural and bold lip colour. I find it goes on nicely and doesn't bleed out but lasts most of the day on the lips, it doesn't cake or dry out the lips which is a massive bonus for a matte lipstick.

Soap and Glory Make Yourself Youthful CC Fluid

I was after a foundation which looked good in photos at giving me a youthful and carefree complexion, so after doing my research I settled on buying the Soap and Glory CC fluid which was on offer at my local Boots.

Soap And Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Lipsticks

I'm a sucker for anything in the clearance section at Boots and was amazed to see three Soap and Glory lipsticks sat there with a £1 price tag, I wasn't just going to leave them there so picked them up and got to the till for another surprised as they were in the 3for2 offer meaning I managed to pick up three Soap and Glory lipsticks for a grand total of £2!

Sexy Mother Pucker by Soap & Glory

I'm a sucker for new lip products and have a shameful amount in my make up drawers, but whilst I was browsing my local Boots I came across there clearance stand and among the selection was Soap and Glory's Sexy Mother Pucker for just £4.

April 2015 Favorites

I feel like I haven't done a favorite for ages so thought it was about time I share with you all what I've been loving. There is quite a mix bag of items I've been loving but there all really great products that are well worth the hype.

Superdrug Anti Frizz Serum
My hair this month has just had the biggest meltdown and has gone really uncontrollable so I've had to use my anti frizz serum almost none stop over the last few weeks but I've been loving the effect it has on my hair. It makes me hair feel softer and gives it a little bounce for when I'm having a bad hair day, it's unscented and is a gel like texture which you only need a small amount of as a little goes a long way.

Soap and Glory Daily Facial Moisture Lotion

After loving serums for the last few months I have gone back to moisturising my face as I felt the only good thing about a serum was it was keeping my make up on but my face however was suffering as it wasn't getting it twice daily moisture which it was hating me for!

The one I use daily under my make up is the Soap and Glory Amazing Everyday Facial Moisture Lotion with sun trigger antioxidant vitamin balls! (phew bit of a mouthful!) not only does it have all of that but it's also spf 25. I love this moisturiser as it help protect my skin against wrinkles, sun spots and dryness. I love how it goes on my face and settles nicely after around five minutes, it also doesn't affect my make up so I can apply it over the top with no worries. I also find it holds my make up on just as well as a serum would which I was highly impressed with, the scent is lovely as it's quite a nice mild floral scent which I love.

Soap and Glory Eyes Box

In the Boots sale last month I was able to pick up a few Soap and Glory products I picked up the Powder Trip which I did a review on a few days back and I also picked up the Eyes Box for £8, it's a great little set which includes a best selling item and six eye shadows!

Including in the bos was:
Thick and Fast Super Volume Mascara
Smoulder Kohl Waterproof Eyeliner
6 Lid Stuff Eyeshadows Vanilla, Wild Blue, Smokin, Minky, Dandy Plum and Black Gold

The Smolder Kohl eyeliner I've owned before and thought it was a great product it went on well and stays on all day, the only thing I wasn't keen on was that it was black as I have really small almond eyes wearing black eyeliner just makes me eyes look extremely silly!

The Thick and Fast Mascara I used for the first time a few days ago at a meal out and loved what they did to my lashes. They made them really thick and added some layers into my lashes as well as having a large easy to use brush which helped a lot.

The eyeshadows were the main reason I brought the set it was the Vanilla and Black Gold that really made me interested in the box. They are a fantastic matte shade that go on my eyelids well and stay all day, I love how they look on my lids and how they feel they have a nice silky feeling which I adored. The other four shades are great for going out I was really intrigued to try Wild Blue and was not let down its a great light sparkly blue colour which look great on my almond shaped eyes.

Soap and Glory Powder Trip Review

I recently had a little mooch in the Boots Christmas Sale and came away with a Soap and Glory Powder Palette which included Solar Powder, Glow All Out and Love at First Blush as well as a handy brush, The Palette should of cost £20 but it was half price at just £10!

The palette design is handy yet cute, it has a rather kitsch vibe with its black and white checkered slimline case. It also has one of my favorite opening which is magnetic but something I don't see on most magnetic openings is a handy tab to pull which I absolutely love. It also has a rather large mirror on the inside which is a fantastic extra.

Solar Powder is a bronzer which is one of the item's I tend to avoid in my make up routine as I just can't seem to get it right. This one has two shades a darker and lighter shade for contouring and building up a nice bronzed shade, the first thing I noticed when using this bronzer is it wasn't to dark and it has a great buildable coverage, it also blended really well, even though it has a shimmer it has quite a matte look on my skin tone.

Glow All Out is a highlighter or a dusting powder, I've never really used a highlighter so I was rather excited to try this one out. I found I only needed a small amount on the brush for my whole face, it went on quite light and left a nice shimmer on my face. It wasn't to shimmery but you can build it up without looking too dark or too made up which I really liked.

Love at First Blush is a fantastic blusher, it has now become my favorite and I will be hopefully buying the individual one for my everyday makeup routine pretty soon. The first thing I love is the design of all the small pieces of colour all separate meaning you can use them individually or use them all together. It's quite pigmented but goes on quite light and soft it gave me quite a flushed look which I quite liked.

Do you own any Soap and Glory make up pieces? What your favorite?

Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Puckers Review

I usually only ever buy or look at Soap and Glory's bath and shower range but I was given a Mother Pucker set at Christmas and was eager to try them out. I was extremely impressed with the three I got as well as loving the adorable tin they came in.

Fuchsia-Ristic
This one looks quite bright and almost has a glow in the dark look about it but once applied I was rather happy. It comes out as a light pink with a lovely gloss finish, it does have a sticky feel but it's not to bad. Over all I think this one is perfect for summer or day trips out.

Nudist
As you can tell by the name this one is quite nude and almost sheer but it does have a nice caramel hint to it, I'm not to keen on nude lipsticks or gloss sticks but this once wasn't to bad and I found I could wear it for days or nights out quite easily.

Plum Jam
I adore the name for this gloss stick, it's a really nice deep autumnal shade with a lovely gloss finish. I found this once seemed to last longer then the other two and wasn't as sticky so it worked quite well as an evening out lip shade.

I would highly recommend this product as it's great value for money at £8, whereas one Mother Pucker on it's own comes in at £8 so while they're still available I would snap up the set!

Soap And Glory Sugar Crush Review

This has to be my favorite product by Soap and Glory, the smell is divine! It has a really sweet sickly smell that reminds me of when I had to many sweets as a kid for some reason. But for £6.50 you get 500ml , which I think is a great buy.

The texture is really light and soothing it also foams up well I only need a small blob to use on my whole body, I find the scent stays on my skin all day and make it feel all soft. For some reason I did think the product would have sugar in it but then realise it must be the scent of sugar, unless I can't feel it!

But I think this is a great shower/bath wash and I really enjoy using it. Do you have any I should check out?

Soap and Glory Slim Wear Review

I picked up this little bargain from the Poundshop, for £1 you get 190ml of a puff draining peptide balm! I didn't even realise Soap And Glory did items like this one I thought it was only make up and bath items. It's a product that reduces the look of cellulite on the top of leg's or wherever you have any cellulite.

The smell is rather strange it smells like gone of gum not like any of the other Soap and Glory products, when applying the cream it feels really cold and almost tingly like applying cream straight out of the fridge even if it been sat on a shelf in a room temperature room. I've been using it for around a month now and can kind of see an improvement on my cellulite my legs seem smoother and the cellulite is less visible.

I'm still not sure if I like this product or not, I think i'll be having a look at some other reviews to see what others have thought about it. If you have done a review please link it in the comments.

Soap and Glory Juicy Pear Lip Balm Review

While having a little look at some Soap and Glory products I came across there lip balm range, I picked up Juicy Peach as I fell in love with the scent for £5 for 18g's it's a great buy. I can only seem to find Soap and Glory in Boots, does anyone know of anywhere else it is sold? As much as I love Boots the one in Banbury is quite small compared to other stores.

The texture is rather sticky and I do find it difficult to apply to my lips using my finger as I then have to wash my hands, which is ok unless i'm out and about. So I have started to use a make up brush to apply the lip balm. I find this easy and a bit more hygienic as you can then wash the brush after, you may get a few funny stares but you won't have sticky fingers!

It tends to last on my lips for around 2 hours which is good, as its in a small tin I don't mind re-applying if need be. It gives a shine rather then a colour but does nourish my lips well, i've been using it for around 2 weeks now and my lips do feel softer.

Overall this is a great fun product and I can't wait to try out some more flavours!

Soap and Glory Review's Body Scrubs, Butter and Arch De Triumph

I don't own many Soap and Glory product's but when I went shopping for some holiday bit's and bob's I noticed they had a mini collection so I picked up some scrubs. Then while I was shopping I also noticed an offer 'spend £10 or more and receive a free body butter' So I also picked up a body butter and a eyebrow pencil.

The mini's are fantastic, They smell amazing and leave my skin feeling so soft, while scrubbing on my skin I was worried it would scratch as it's quite a harsh formula but it was completely opposite, it soothed and relaxed my skin. I went back recently and picked up a large bottle of one of the scrub's as both my mini's had nearly run out.

The free body butter was the five fruit one, which smells divine. It is really thick but smooth's onto my skin really well, it also really soothes my skin after a hot bath. The product also seem's to last for ever, I've been using it for a good 2 week's now and it still seem's as full as when I brought it!

Lastly one of my favorite product's I purchased last month was the Arch De Triumph eyebrow pencil, which has 2 side's a eyebrow shaper and then a highlighter. This product is fantastic,  The shaper blends so well and has an easy build able coverage, while the highlighter is great for blending and if you go wrong it smudges off really well.

I will defiantly be purchasing some more Soap and Glory product's, do you have any favorites?
