Benefit Roller Lash Review

I'm pretty sure by now every Blogger has gone to there local stores to pick up a copy of Elle Magazine which had the new release from Benefit attached and that was Roller Lash. It came out in stores on the 12th February and retails at £19.50.

The packaging for the sample is chic and cute with a lovely rose gold lid and cute little black pot, you can't go wrong. The packaging for the full sized product is pretty similar but instead of the lovely rose gold lid you get a pale pink patterned lid, both are rather nice designs.

The brush is sturdy and curved making it easy to get every lash and to create a nice full looking lash, it did however clump a little which was rather annoying but it did curve and hold the lash easily and nicely. It has a really nice deep dark black colour and doesn't fade or fall out during the day. I found removing the product was easy with my Bioderma and it didn't damage my lashes which is always good.

I found this mascara to be a really good everyday mascara which I wouldn't really wear out on a night out as it didn't really give me the wow factor but it does work well and has a great long lasting colour. Will you be purchasing the Benefit Roller Lash Mascara?

Miss Punky Mascara by Loreal Paris*

Loreal Paris is a great beauty brand with loads of products to choose from which are affordable and great quality, they stock beauty to skincare and tanning products to hair care. I've had the chance to review the Miss Punky Mascara which is the new release from the Manga range and I couldn't wait to give it a whirl.

The 360 degree comb effect brush has a great texturising formula to create full and punk looking lashes, the mascara wand is hard and seems to get each lash with each stroke which impressed me a lot. In order to create the punk eyed look you need to then turn the brush vertically and twirl the tip to create a stuck together lash look, I found this easy to do and it create a rather edgy look to my lashes. Lastly to create that really edgy punk look you can use tweezers to carefully stick the lashes together which means your lashes look even more thicker and fuller with the oh so desired look.

The packaging is simple yet effective as the bold bright attractive colours are simple enough yet it draws you into the product, I really liked the yellow toned gold lid which has the name of the mascara on but then the bottle is black with the edgy gold toned writing with the simple statement mega volume which I thought was a really great yet simple description of the product.

I found the mascara to be a really nice rich thick black shade which went on nicely not to thick but not to watery. It lasted a good while on my lashes and I found I didn't need to top up or correct any of the lashes throughout the day which I liked a lot. I used the mascara on a normal day and then also on a night out and I found it lasted just as good which I liked a lot.

Flutter My Way - So Susan Flutter Mascara Review

I got this product in the recent pop art Glossybox and have fallen in love, it's everything I love and need in a mascara and will be needing a new one soon as I've been using it none stop over the last few weeks.

The packaging is so simple and sweet it's spot on for me, the rose gold tube with simple black writing is classic and chic but the added bird design on the top of the tube really sells the product for me. It's a normal sized tube with an easy to use wand although it's a lot smaller and more sturdy than some mascara's which I found much easier to use as I could reach all my lashes to create a bold look.

The mascara went on well and wasn't to thick but create a nice thick mascara look, I only needed one coat to create a dark black look. I also found it dried quickly so it didn't get onto the top lid of my eyes and didn't leave any marks which really impressed me.

The one thing I wasn't excepting from the product was the scent it's kind of fruity almost like a watermelon scent which impressed me a lot as it's completely different from all the other mascara's I've tried making it stand out. The product is £14.95 which is perfect for such a nice product, it's cruelty free and has no harsh ingredients making it wearable for contact lens wearers.

No7 Extreme Length Review

Over the last few weeks my eyes have been feeling sensitive and sore so using my normal mascara has been a bit of a bother, but my mum was at the No7 counter and they had there 3for2 offer on so offered to pick me up there Extreme Length Sensitive mascara an offer which I didn't refuse!

The packaging is quite glamorous as it's a silver tube with simply black writing, it's come in a 7ml tube so the standard mascara size. The wand is nice and sturdy with hard bristles it is quite small as well so I didn't get mascara all over the place with I liked. The colour I went for was brown/black as I have small eyes and with a black mascara I tend to look like I am squinting, it came out a really nice brown though and matched my eyes nicely which I liked.

So how did it go with my sore and sensitive eyes? It worked really well!

I didn't need to rub my eyes and they didn't water to much with the product and I also found that at the end of the day it had stayed put and not smudged down my face which I loved. As it was a lash build mascara as well I found it gave me great length to my lashes and made them stand out more which I also loved. To buy the product you can find it at most Boots stores for £12.50 or you can wait for them to have a 3for2 offer and bribe your mum!

Rimmel Scandaleyes Retro Glam

When I go out drinking I tend to use a black mascara instead of my daily brown, I like to go for thickening and lengthening lashes so I went for a brand I've used in the past and loved so I went for Rimmel's Scandaleyes Retro Glam. I've seen the advert for this product and when I had a look in store it stood out so much I brought it!

The thing that stood out the most was the brush it's curved at the ends and goes in at the middle meaning your lashes look bigger and bolder then normal. The product didn't go on my lashes to thick and seems to dry quickly meaning I didn't smudge or get into a mess using the wand.

The colour was really pigmented making it look really dark on my lashes standing out well against my other make up which I like a lot. Over all this is a great product and I'm glad I brought it for just £6.99, you can find it at Boots and Superdrug.

17 Blow Out Mascara

This mascara was a product in my Boots Beauty Calendar and has been a bit of a nightmare product, I'm just not a fan of the whole mascara and not really impressed by there range of make up so I would 100% say I have a love hate relationship with 17 as a brand.

The mascara is a Volumise Sculpt Tease Mascara with 12x volume in colour black. The one thing I hate about this product is the brush, it's way to big and holds way to much product so when applying to my eyes I got product everywhere! and almost stabbed myself in the eye. Another thing is the overall size of the product is rather chunky and big so pretty much takes up a large place in my make up bag. I also found the black wasn't much to rave about either it came out nice but for a mascara that is pretty big headed I would of thought it would be a richer darker black.

If you want to find or test this product out for yourself it's available at Boots, Has anyone else just had no luck with this mascara or is it just me?

Soap and Glory Eyes Box

In the Boots sale last month I was able to pick up a few Soap and Glory products I picked up the Powder Trip which I did a review on a few days back and I also picked up the Eyes Box for £8, it's a great little set which includes a best selling item and six eye shadows!

Including in the bos was:
Thick and Fast Super Volume Mascara
Smoulder Kohl Waterproof Eyeliner
6 Lid Stuff Eyeshadows Vanilla, Wild Blue, Smokin, Minky, Dandy Plum and Black Gold

The Smolder Kohl eyeliner I've owned before and thought it was a great product it went on well and stays on all day, the only thing I wasn't keen on was that it was black as I have really small almond eyes wearing black eyeliner just makes me eyes look extremely silly!

The Thick and Fast Mascara I used for the first time a few days ago at a meal out and loved what they did to my lashes. They made them really thick and added some layers into my lashes as well as having a large easy to use brush which helped a lot.

The eyeshadows were the main reason I brought the set it was the Vanilla and Black Gold that really made me interested in the box. They are a fantastic matte shade that go on my eyelids well and stay all day, I love how they look on my lids and how they feel they have a nice silky feeling which I adored. The other four shades are great for going out I was really intrigued to try Wild Blue and was not let down its a great light sparkly blue colour which look great on my almond shaped eyes.

Jelly Pong Pong Fairy Lashes

This is Jelly Pong Pong's first ever mascara which came as a big surprise to me as it is made so well and is such a good product I thought it would be there tenth! It's an amazing little product as it's Water Resistant but goes on super soft and isn't too heavy on your lashes.

It doesn't have a strong mascara scent and the colour comes out quite pigmented- it's a combination of blue lake and black pigments. The brush is great it has a small tip for getting into tricky corner's but fatten's out towards the middle to add your desired amount of mascara.

Once applied onto my lashes it felt really light and almost like I had no mascara on, but look's wise it looked great. I'm extremely happy with this mascara and will be re purchasing once my sample one from GlossyBox has run out. The cost is £15 which can come across as a bit pricey but it is an amazing product, also available in Maiden a lovely warm violet shade.
