Beauty | Makeup Obsession Contour

I love coming across new brands and products to try out so I was happy to see in my local Boots a new brand called Makeup Obsession. They have really affordable products that come in really adorable and easy to store packaging with a palette system, you pick 6 items and build up your perfect palette which I really loved. The brand is a sister company to Makeup Revolution so they are cruelty free and affordable which I love.

Beauty | Soap and Glory Girls Con-Tour

Priced at £14 this five piece contour set is one that I've been reaching for over the last few weeks, it's a perfect travelling set and always great to have in my bag for on the go touch ups. I was really impressed with how much I got for the price I paid and would happily purchase it again.

Beauty | Natural Collection Bronzing Powder

For some reason I find my bronzers go out of date really quickly, my most recent one lasted 6 months before crumbling to the point it was no good. So I went on the hunt for the perfect bronzing powder that wouldn't break the bank when I need to repurchase in a few months. I went along to Boots and found one of my go to brands Natural Collection do a powder for £1.99 the perfect price to pay for a bronzer.

Kiko Milano Outdoor Bronzer

I'm getting more and more into contouring and I'm still after the perfect bronzer, I was browsing my local Kiko Milano store and came across the Outdoor range which includes the 01 Technical Honey. This bronzer is a large 25g product so it's not one to take out the house but still works great, it also comes with a large mirror so if you do take it out with you it's very easy to re apply.

Beauty - Collection Contour Kit

I have to admit I am a complete newbie to contouring and almost get a worried knot of anxiety in my stomach when it comes to applying bronzer to my face. It seems so unnatural to apply such a dark product onto my pale skin tone but I went for it and purchased my first contouring kit. I went into my local Superdrug and brought one from a brand I know and love Collection at only £4.19 full price but there's always offers on.

Beauty - Superdrug Make Up Brushes Review

I'm always needing new brushes and as most brands have expensive brushes I'm always on the look out for affordable ones to use. I normally go for Primark but my local store is having a refurb and I needed some ones so I opted for Superdrug's own brand ones and was pleasantly surprised.

At just £2.99 there just as good as the more expensive ones and look great as well, I picked up a bronzer brush and a blusher one to use as a highlighter brush. The design is sleek and looks great in my make up case with a matte black handle that is easy to hold and a cute and simply silver grip the brushes look and feel more high end then high street.

Soap and Glory Powder Trip Review

I recently had a little mooch in the Boots Christmas Sale and came away with a Soap and Glory Powder Palette which included Solar Powder, Glow All Out and Love at First Blush as well as a handy brush, The Palette should of cost £20 but it was half price at just £10!

The palette design is handy yet cute, it has a rather kitsch vibe with its black and white checkered slimline case. It also has one of my favorite opening which is magnetic but something I don't see on most magnetic openings is a handy tab to pull which I absolutely love. It also has a rather large mirror on the inside which is a fantastic extra.

Solar Powder is a bronzer which is one of the item's I tend to avoid in my make up routine as I just can't seem to get it right. This one has two shades a darker and lighter shade for contouring and building up a nice bronzed shade, the first thing I noticed when using this bronzer is it wasn't to dark and it has a great buildable coverage, it also blended really well, even though it has a shimmer it has quite a matte look on my skin tone.

Glow All Out is a highlighter or a dusting powder, I've never really used a highlighter so I was rather excited to try this one out. I found I only needed a small amount on the brush for my whole face, it went on quite light and left a nice shimmer on my face. It wasn't to shimmery but you can build it up without looking too dark or too made up which I really liked.

Love at First Blush is a fantastic blusher, it has now become my favorite and I will be hopefully buying the individual one for my everyday makeup routine pretty soon. The first thing I love is the design of all the small pieces of colour all separate meaning you can use them individually or use them all together. It's quite pigmented but goes on quite light and soft it gave me quite a flushed look which I quite liked.

Do you own any Soap and Glory make up pieces? What your favorite?

MUA The Artiste Collection

I picked up this multi use palette as I loved the marbled eyeshadows which you get 6 of but included in the palette is 2 blushers, a highlighter and a bronzer. It cost around £4-£6 as I picked it up a few months ago it isn't a new release anymore but it was when I purchased it, I love to use MUA products as there are always so good as so cheap as well as having a great range which most recently got moved to its own stand and not a spinning stand which got placed wherever Superdrug had space!

The Marbled effect eyeshadows are great looking and come out lovely you get Pistachio, Mocca, Ice, Grape, Chocolate and Cookie.

The two blushers are lovely shades of pink called Pink Sparkle and Primrose.

Lastly the highlighter is called Shimmer Kiss and the bronzer is called a simply Bronzed.

I think this collection is perfect for people who have just started to be more adventurous with makeup or someone who travels a lot can have all the necessary makeup tools right here in this palette. If it's still available in MUA I would definitely pick it up!
