I was super excited to see that Zoe Sugg had released a new beauty range as her last range I loved leaving me intrigued to see what she had in store for this new range, I wasn't disappointed with the Jelly and Gelato range which is seaside themed. I went along and picked up the Shower Sauce product for £5 and couldn't wait to start using it.

Beauty - What's In My New York Make Up Case
There is only two more weeks until New York and I've finally started to get other things together and one of them being my make up case. My make up is going to be a mix of my everyday and also my going out make up, as I feel I shall be taking a lot of photos and wanting my make up to last all day so I shall be needed a mixture of high street and high end.
The case I'm taking it my Zoella case as it looks really small and fits nicely into my case however it fits loads in and manages to stretch out nicely so everything I need fits in. It's available at Superdrug and comes in three different designs all of which are the same size, however if you want something a little smaller she has just brought out a new range which has a small pencil case style bag in which may suit you.

First Makeup Bag Essentials
Today's post is going to be a blog post on what to have in your first ever makeup bag, as a teenager I made some awful choices in makeup and would off loved to have found a post online on what to put onto my face and what your are suppose to buy. So in an attempt to help out some off my readers I've put together this post, it may not be the right information to give but it may be helpful to some people. I also want to point out I'm not stating an age as to when it is ideal to get your first make up set as it may cause some drama but I began to use makeup at around the age of 13.
To start off you will need a moisturiser or a base to help keep your skin protected and to sheer it from the layer of make up you are about to apply to your face. You first need to find out what skin type you are and then work from that, I am oily so tend to go for oily controlled products but if you can't figure it out there are always products that are for all skin types. I would recommend Simple as a first moisturiser as they don't contain any harsh ingredients and work well on all skin types.
Next up you need to find a foundation and one that works well with your skin type again so for oily skin look for a matte foundation and for dry skin look for a dewy foundation. You will also need to find the right match to your skin and to do this you will need to test the foundation on your face a good spot in below the chin as placing it on your hand like most people doesn't actually work. I would recommend you go for the brand Rimmel which is a great high street foundation that has a great price range and a great selection of shades to choice from.
If you are struggling with spots you will need a concealer the best one to go for is the same brand as your foundation so for Rimmel it will be the Wake Me Up or another great one is Collections Lasting Perfection concealer, both are a great liquid concealer which is easy to use and easy to blend. For spots I normally go for a warm tone to hide the spots going for a white or bright looking concealer will normally highlight the spot.
To keep everything in place and to add a bit of colour or to make a make up look matte you can add powder, again I would go for the same one as your foundation. This also helps to stop shine and oil coming through, this is the one product I would take to school with me to touch up my make up throughout the day. You can't go wrong with powder if you stick to a translucent one to just stop shine and to add a bit off coverage as this is a clear shade and doesn't add to much colour you won't find yourself going to dark.
Next up is eyes which for me I had a lot of problems with as I have almond shaped eyes I would get into a right pickle with what products to use and how to use them. I would stick to a simple mascara when buying your first one, nothing to fancy and nothing to expensive. If you have almond eyes and don't want to go to dark I use a brown mascara but if you have large eyes and won't to show them off then go for a black mascara. A great brand to go for is Natural Collections as it has no nasty ingredients and ins't to expensive but they still have a great range of mascaras to choice from.
Last up you will need a nice lip product to go with your new look and there are loads to choice from and it can be quite a daunting experiences picking a lip product. The best one to go with is one that matches the inside of your mouth which sounds extremely odd and weird but pout your lip and the colour you see is the one you should go with if you are picking a lipstick. Or there are of course lip balms to go with these are your best choice as you can wear them in school or to just add a small amount of colour to your lips, go for brands like Natural Collections and don't go for anything to bright and bold as you need to make small changes to your look to get used to it before you go for bright more grown up looks!
I hope this post was helpful to any teens you need some help when it comes to first make up buys! Let me know what you think.

January Favorites 2015
This past month I've been loving quite a few products so I thought I would do a favorites for you as I enjoy reading them and I thought you may want to know what I've been loving the last month. I have a few beauty items and a few other bits and bobs so let's get started!
MAC Foundation
I've purchased a new MAC Foundation last month and have been using it as my day to day foundation, I find I get the right coverage and the right style of foundation for my skin tone when I go to MAC and I always find I get such a long lasting make up look that I always go back after trying some high street foundations. So I gave in and brought shade NW10 which is the lightest shade you can go for and suits my pale and oily face well, it is a bit pricey at £21.50 but I find you only need a small amount so it does last around 2-3 months.
Maybelline Colour 24hr Tattoo Eye Shadow
Over the last few months over Christmas and into January I've been using the cream colour 24hr tattoo eye shadow from Maybelline and have been loving it! It blends so nicely onto the lid and stays put which impressed me a lot. The shade you get from On and On Bronze is lovely as it's a really rich bronze/gold shade which adapts well to other eye shadows being placed on top. To pick one up there available at Superdrug for £4.99 they have a big collection of 15 shades so they should hopefully have the right shade for you!
BlowPro
I was browsing the Superdrug sale and come across the brand Blowpro which I've tried in the past and loved so I picked up the serum, hair spray and mousse and was extremely impressed. The three products work so well on my thick and unmanageable hair that I have so much more time in the mornings now by using the Blowpro set, the mousse goes into the hair with no trouble and leaves it thicker and fuller while not leaving the hair weighed down, the hair spray gives the hair a nice hold and adds the right amount off volume while not getting to thick and unmanageable, and my favorite product the serum works wonders on protecting my hair before I blow dry it and leaves my hair soft and looking great. It's normally price at £6.99 but Superdrug were selling them for £1.99.
Zoella and Chris Pavone Books
I'm not one to normally sit down and read but throughout January I have read two great books that I just had to share with you and they were the Zoella book which is a great read for teenagers or anyone suffering from Depression/anxiety as it has some great help tips and some advice to help you get through it but it also gives you some great first relationship advice while still being a great read. The second book by Chris Pavone is called The Accident which is a crime and thriller book that keeps you gripped the whole way through while being a great read as you get to know the characters and the story line thickens all the way through before a really shocking ending I loved this book and can't wait to see what Chris Pavone has coming up.
New York Planning and Tokyo Planning
I have always had the travelling bug and as I've booked New York for September most of my time has been spent reading up and attractions and planning what shops to visit, I've also been looking online at hauls and having a look at other travelling blogs as I want to make the most out of going to New York. I've also decided in 2016 I shall be going to Tokyo and can't believe how cheap it is, to stay in a decent hostel for a weak it's £116 which was a massive shock for me. The one thing I shall struggle with is learning the language as I've had no practice or exposure to the Japanese language it shall be a struggle for me!
So that's it for my favorites if you have done a post then let me know I would love to check it out!
