Nails Inc Tate Polish

As I buy Glamour magazine each month I always get surprised and happy to see it featuring a gift, they do several issues a year which contains top end beauty gifts such as the Nails Inc Tate Polish. For only £2 you are also coming away with a £14 nail polish which is a pretty good offer that no one can say no to!

SS16 Nails - Most Worn

This Summer I've been loving light pastel shades on my nails and have decided to share what I've been wearing just like my last post on my lips. So here are my four most worn nail polishes of Spring and Summer 2016!

Barry M Speedy Quick Dry Nails
My most worn has been the Barry M speedy range which has some amazing light summer shades all of which are quick drying. I was very surprised when trying the range as I didn't think they would actually dry quickly but they do! There also very affordable which is great and they always on offer which is even better.

Summer Nails With Barry M

I'm a massive fan off the affordable high street brand Barry M and while I was out shopping I decided to purchase some new polishes for summer, I came away with three polishes which I think are the perfect nail varnishes for SS16. The polishes start from £2.99 and the most expensive is £4.99 but there all affordable and work well.

Beauty - Nails Inc Optic Glow Review

My nail varnish collection is slowly going from needing one drawer to needing two but of course when I saw Nails Inc Optic Glow I just had to have one and add it to my collection. It was on offer in Boots when you buy Colgate Max toothpaste you get a pot of Nails Inc paint for just £6.99, who was going to turn that down!

Beauty - Tanya Burr Nails

A while ago I did a review on two off the nail varnishes from the Tanya Burr range, but whilst I was browsing the TKMaxx beauty section I came across a bargain or three nail varnishes for just £6 RRP £18 so a massive saving off £12 which I was pleased with. The three I got where Fireworks, Mischief Managed and New York Night which are all very different styles!

New York Night
This shade is a very moody dark purple/black which really reminds me of halloween and autumn, but it went on well with just one coat and made my nails look dark and grungy but still quite chic which I liked. This is very much a winter shade but it stayed on my nails for a great time of 5 days which impressed me a lot, as well as having the easy to use large brush.

Barry M Quick Dry Nails

I spotted a great new offer in Superdrug on some new nail polishes from the range Barry M and thought I would check them out. It was a 2 for £7 on the new Barry M Quick Dry Nail Paint which for me sounds great as I'm always in a rush and the idea of having a quick dry nail polish is just up my street. I picked up two very summery shades and couldn't wait it to get them home and test them out, in the new line there are 9 to choose from.

The packaging is very cute and looks really quirky with it's finish line lid and classic glass bottle it looks really nice. The them behind the the new range is 'Speedy' so all the new paints have cute names like Pole Position and Kiss Me Quick which are the two I picked up, I love when brand bring out a new range and make an effort with the whole product.

The applicator is a little odd as it's a wide brush which I sometimes find hard to use as I get paint everywhere but this brush is flat and oddly enough it makes it easier to apply the polish to the nails without it getting everywhere. So even though it a large brush it doesn't seem to hold to much product and makes it easier to apply the product to the nails which I thought was a great feature.

The Pole Postion nail paint is a lovely minty green shade which looks great after two coats, it goes on really bright and looks really uplifting and great for summer. While Kiss Me Quick is a very cute girly pastel shade of pink which I adore, it just screams summer and looks so nice almost like a strawberry milkshake shade. All the nail paints in the range are very spring and summer themed which is a lovely breath of fresh air as I haven't really seen any good new releases from other brands this year.

Now then I'm sure you are asking whether or not it actually is a speedy quick dry nail paint and the most simple answer I can give is yes. It works amazingly and after two coats my nails where dry well within 3 minutes which for me is amazing. I air dried my nails for around 30 seconds after painting them and then did a small test and to my amazement it was dry which I was extremely impressed with, Barry M has outdone them selves with this product.

Did you pick up any of the new shades? What were your thoughts?

Ciate Talent Scout

This is my second ever nail polish from the brand Ciate and I've not been let down, the name of the product is Talent Scout which I always love how Ciate have such nice names for there product's unlike most other brands which either copy each other or come up with rude names which are not suitable for anyone under the age of 16!

Talent Scout is a deep dark purple ideal for winter I used two coats and got a really nice rich purple with a nice glossy coat. It lasted on my nails an impressive 6 days before I needed to remove as it had got to chipped but it did impressed me with it's 6 day wear.

The Ciate range is available online from around £8 upwards and comes in a great range off colours, have your tried out Talent Scout what did you think of the product?

Nails Inc Wigmore Street Review

Glamour magazine is one I buy each month as it's only £2 and has all the best articles when it comes to celeb gossip but I was very happy to see in this month's issue it had a Nails Inc polish and some great vouchers. I got the shade Wigmore Street but there's 4 up for grabs and at only £2 you can't really go wrong.

Wigmore Street is a very deep purple shade which you can get a nice deep purple with one coat or with two you get a really dark and almost black look to the nails which is great for winter. I found it lasted on my nails for a good week before they were to chipped and I needed to remove, this is a great length of time for a polish.

The Nails Inc packaging is one of my favorite's and it's so simple and chic with the little silver lid and simple wording I find it looks lovely on display. I also love how creative the names are for the polishes and they never fail to create such nice shade names. The product's are available from most large departments stores for around £11 which is a bit pricey but I do love there products!

What's your favorite shade from the Nails Inc range?

Bounce Bounce!

I'm always a lover of coral nail varnishes and can never turn away one with a cute name, cue Bounce by Topshop is this adorable orange shade which I've been loving this summer!

It's lasted on my nails for a good few days before it began to chip and I felt the need to re apply, the pigmentation for this polish was great it was nice and bright with a subtle shimmer which I love. It's a lovely summer shade and I can't wait to get as much out of it as possible over the next few months.

To pick up a pot it's available in selected stores and online for just £5 or two for £9.

Barry M Red Wine Review

As soon as Autumn arrives more and more brands bring out some great little item's which are perfect for the season, I love walking down the aisles in shops to see what new or old products are appearing on the shelves. One item I noticed was the Barry M Red Wine nail varnish at £3.99 there always a great buy, I went for a normal paint instead of an effect one as I prefer the natural shine and gloss you get from the originals.

Red Wine is a really deep red which goes on well after two coats, it stays on for around 4-7 days and comes of well if you have a decent base coat on I also like the fact it didn't stain or leave me nails looking chipped or dry. I think this nail varnish is perfect for going out as an alternative to the red or black nails most people go for, it's also great for a special occasion as it add a bit of class.

What are your favorite Autumn/Winter nail varnishes?

My Favorite AW13 Nail Varnishes

This Autumn and Winter they have been a few trends and blog posts about makeup and clothes but I'm yet to see one about nail varnishes to wear, so here is my post on what I will be wearing on my nail's the next few months.

For everyday wear it has to be Sally Hansen Fiery Island, Barry M Gelly Hi Shine in Pomegranate and my Barry M Matt White styling it with my Nail Art Pen. The Sally Hansen Fiery Island is perfect as it's a really warm colour and lasts for ages. Barry M in Pomegranate is a nice alternative to the red's and berry shades as it in the Gelly Hi Shine so it adds a nice gloss. I'm also loving my Matt white and nail art pen, you can do some great autumn designs and really add a different look to your nail for this season.

For going out and special occasions I've picked Barry M Red, Miss Sporty Black, Barry M Emerald Green and Primarks Magnetic Nails. When I'm out drinking I stick to Black and Red as they both go with most of my outfits and right into the Autumn Winter months. If I'm out for a special occasions or it's something more than a night out drinking I go with Emerald green a lovely christmas shade or my Magnetic nails, these shades are really dark and mysterious which I love.

I would love to see some blog post's about your must have AW13 nail varnishes.

Headline Color's Poolside Party Review

Wow what a great little nail polish! I think I may almost be in love with my nails right now!

I received this sample pot in my Glossybox this month for 10ml it costs £9 which for this product I think is a reasonable price. I had not heard about Headline Colors before my Glossybox arrived but they seem like a great nail polish company, you can check out their website here Headline Colors they also have a handy blog with some great tips!

For me the best thing about the polish was it lasted for ages before getting a chip, as I work in retail my nail's always get chipped and bashed about but this polish really stood up for itself again my bashes! It was a really intense color and was really bright and fresh. I had some great compliments from work colleagues and friends =]

The dry time for this polish is great it touch dries within around a minute and a half and then I was able to apply a second coat after 3 minutes. It didn't have an overpowering smell to it and it also came off really well. As I was quite worried that as it wasn't chipping that it wouldn't come off!

I can't wait till pay day to try out some more color's, Do you own any color's from Headline Colors?
