Rimmel 610 High Flyer Matte Lipstick
This lipstick hasn't left my bag for a while as I've been wearing it none stop, for only £6.99 it's a great affordable high street lipstick. It looks amazing on the lips as a dark rose shade that looks great in photos but also looks amazing as a dress up or dress down lipstick. It's a Matte shade but doesn't dry the lips out which is a massive plus for me!

Nails Inc Tate Polish

As I buy Glamour magazine each month I always get surprised and happy to see it featuring a gift, they do several issues a year which contains top end beauty gifts such as the Nails Inc Tate Polish. For only £2 you are also coming away with a £14 nail polish which is a pretty good offer that no one can say no to!

SS16 Nails - Most Worn

This Summer I've been loving light pastel shades on my nails and have decided to share what I've been wearing just like my last post on my lips. So here are my four most worn nail polishes of Spring and Summer 2016!

Barry M Speedy Quick Dry Nails
My most worn has been the Barry M speedy range which has some amazing light summer shades all of which are quick drying. I was very surprised when trying the range as I didn't think they would actually dry quickly but they do! There also very affordable which is great and they always on offer which is even better.

Nails Inc Oregon's Out

Nails Inc is a great brand of nail polish to go for as they create such lovely colours that have a great long lasting effect on the nails, my only worry when purchasing from them is the £11 price tag which is a little on the pricey side. However I was pleased to see a freebie nail polish is this months version of Instyle magazine.

Beauty - Nails Inc Optic Glow Review

My nail varnish collection is slowly going from needing one drawer to needing two but of course when I saw Nails Inc Optic Glow I just had to have one and add it to my collection. It was on offer in Boots when you buy Colgate Max toothpaste you get a pot of Nails Inc paint for just £6.99, who was going to turn that down!

Nails Inc Wigmore Street Review

Glamour magazine is one I buy each month as it's only £2 and has all the best articles when it comes to celeb gossip but I was very happy to see in this month's issue it had a Nails Inc polish and some great vouchers. I got the shade Wigmore Street but there's 4 up for grabs and at only £2 you can't really go wrong.

Wigmore Street is a very deep purple shade which you can get a nice deep purple with one coat or with two you get a really dark and almost black look to the nails which is great for winter. I found it lasted on my nails for a good week before they were to chipped and I needed to remove, this is a great length of time for a polish.

The Nails Inc packaging is one of my favorite's and it's so simple and chic with the little silver lid and simple wording I find it looks lovely on display. I also love how creative the names are for the polishes and they never fail to create such nice shade names. The product's are available from most large departments stores for around £11 which is a bit pricey but I do love there products!

What's your favorite shade from the Nails Inc range?

Nails Inc Matte

I always love a good nail varnish and adore a varnish that has a nice effect to it so I was really happy to see in the recent Glossybox that the Nails Inc Matte was included and couldn't wait to give it a whirl. Matte polish has been a bit of a hype recently but I've always thought it would be great to have a varnish that could turn my already brought varnish to a nice matte shade, when I heard about the Nails Inc one I was really pleased however the £12 price tag put me off buying it, so thank you Glossybox!

The varnish is a nice clear shade that you just apply over a coat of nail varnish to get a nice matte look, it's as simply as that! I found I applied it and at first it didn't seem to work but after a few moments it turned my nails a lovely matte shade. The drying time for this polish really impressed me as it was dry within around 2 minutes of applying and I could get along with my day to day chores really quickly without it smudging.

I wanted to really test out the product so I applied it to a range of nail varnish including a Gelly Hi Shine one and a few other's which are particularly shiny like some glittery ones and you can see below the effect and how well the product works!

Before

After it didn't photo to well!

So what are your thoughts on the Nails Inc matte varnish and have you found a more affordable dupe?

AW14 Nails

I'm a massive fan of changing up my nails in the winter months and always switch things up and go with completely different shades to what I wear in the Summer and Spring. I thought I would share with you the top 5 nail varnishes I shall be using for the next few months.

Nails Inc - Kate Spade Noir
This is my favorite black nail varnish as it comes out in such a nice dark deep colour and doesn't chip that easy so it's my go to varnish that I can partner with all my outfits. Nails Inc is available at Boots for £11.

Essie - Bahama Mama
My favorite thing about this product is the name it's so catchy and I always find myself repeating it throughout the day! It's a lovely deep burgundy colour which I tend to wear as an everyday varnish, I find it last's for ages and I only need one coat with this product to get a nice shade, it's available from Boot's for £7.99.

Barry M - Mango Gelly Hi Shine
This shade is quite a bright shade for AW but I love wearing it on nights out as it has the Gelly Hi Shine added it goes well when I need an outfit brighten up. The product has a good wear off around 3 days and looks great after just one coat but to get the nice shine effect I would always suggest two coats. It's available from Boots and Superdrug for £3.99.

Technic - Ruby Slippers
This is my go to product for around Christmas time, it's a gorgeous glittery red which looks amazing with a Christmas jumper as it's fun and colourful I love wearing it. It's really easy to remove unlike most glitters and it lasts a good few days, you can buy it online from around £1.99

OPI - Super Bass Shatter
I love this polish in winter as it's a really deep dark purple but with it's shatter effect it puts a great effect onto the nails to spruce it up either for daytime wear or evening wear. I find it doesn't last as long as I think it should but it's such a good effect I can't really complain. It's available from Debenhams for £11.50.

I hope you liked this post let me know what varnishes you will be reaching for this AW!

Spring Nails

For Spring I love to have a natural or nude look nail, if I do paint them it will be a light shade or a really pale colour. So I decided to go through my top picks for this Spring and share them with you, they range from high street to fashion so there's something for everyone!

Barry M
I have three nail varnish's that are perfect for spring they are the Matte Vanilla, Bright Pink and Prickly Pear. I picked Vanilla and Prickly Pear for everyday use and then the Bright Pink as an alternative for going out. Barry M has prices from £2.99 and there colours are always great and perfect for any occasion.

Nails Inc
Again I have three that are great for Spring Bruton Street, Porchester Square and Portobello. I picked out Bruton Street and Porchester Square as my day time shades and then Portobello as a going out shade. Nails Inc start at £5 and can get quite pricey so it's always best to go to TKMaxx or a discount store to try dig out some Nails Inc bargains!

Lastly a shade from Estee Lauder called Rose Coral, I love this little pot of Nail Lacquer as it's the perfect shade for Spring. I received a sample size from a relative and have loved it since!

Nails Inc Neon Portobello Nail Varnish Review

I received this product in my June Glossybox and fell in love with the shade, It is such an amazing shade. I can not wait to try out some more on the Neon shades from the Nails Inc range and at only £11 the price isn't to bad.

I love how with Nails Inc my nails don't seem to chip or damage as badly as they do with some other brands. I find the varnish goes on well and you can sometimes get away with just one coat and a top coat, with this shade to get a really neon affect I would always apply too shades to get that really wow factor for it.

Do you have any shades from the new Neon Range? I really want to try the hot pink one (Notting Hill Gate) that would be a great going out shade. I'm not to keen on the look of the Neon Yellow shade though!

Nails Inc Burton Street Review

I have always wanted to purchase some Nails Inc paint's but the price tag did put me of, I think £11 is way to much to spend on one pot of nail varnish. So when I received a sample pot in my Glossybox I did a little squeal of joy.

The colour is perfect for spring weather as it's a really pretty beige toned nude it goes with most outfits and looks effortless on the nails. I found it didn't chip at all and lasted a good 4-5 days on my nails before looking a little tired and I needed to remove it, taking it off my nails was easy as it didn't stain.

I love using the nail varnish and would happily pick up another bottle but maybe when it's been reduced or on special offer!
