Wisteria Nail Lacquer

At a recent Crabtree and Evelyn event in my goody bag I was given a lovely purple nail varnish called Wisteria which is part of there 21 shade selection which is available in store for £6 each.

The shade is a really nice purpley blue with some added shimmer it's a glossy colour which looks nice against the shimmer. It dries pretty quick and with two coats it a prefect shade, it lasted on my nails around 3 days which is good for a nail varnish at £6. I wouldn't say it was a good summer shade but it will look pretty nice in Autumn or at an evening event.

To pick up this nail lacquer you can find it in store or online, what your favorite shade from the Crabtree and Evelyn line?

Essie Jam and Jelly Review

While in Paris I picked up two Essie Nail Lacquers one of them being Jam and Jelly a bright happy fuchsia, I paid 5 Euros as it was in the 50% off sale at Galeries Lafayette.

The shade in the bottle looks a lot lighter in the bottle but once applied to the nails it's quite a deep rich pink almost a red, I did apply two coats so it did appear a bit darker. It went on well and dried quite quickly, once dried I notice it has a nice shimmery shade to it which I really liked.

It lasted me around 5 days which is good for a nail varnish and I found it didn't chip as much as most nail varnishes any a few chips here and there.

My Favorite AW13 Nail Varnishes

This Autumn and Winter they have been a few trends and blog posts about makeup and clothes but I'm yet to see one about nail varnishes to wear, so here is my post on what I will be wearing on my nail's the next few months.

For everyday wear it has to be Sally Hansen Fiery Island, Barry M Gelly Hi Shine in Pomegranate and my Barry M Matt White styling it with my Nail Art Pen. The Sally Hansen Fiery Island is perfect as it's a really warm colour and lasts for ages. Barry M in Pomegranate is a nice alternative to the red's and berry shades as it in the Gelly Hi Shine so it adds a nice gloss. I'm also loving my Matt white and nail art pen, you can do some great autumn designs and really add a different look to your nail for this season.

For going out and special occasions I've picked Barry M Red, Miss Sporty Black, Barry M Emerald Green and Primarks Magnetic Nails. When I'm out drinking I stick to Black and Red as they both go with most of my outfits and right into the Autumn Winter months. If I'm out for a special occasions or it's something more than a night out drinking I go with Emerald green a lovely christmas shade or my Magnetic nails, these shades are really dark and mysterious which I love.

I would love to see some blog post's about your must have AW13 nail varnishes.

Essie Nail Lacquer Geranium Review

I only received my Essie Nail Lacquer in my April Glossybox a few day's ago but I already love it, The shade I got was Geranium which is an orange toned red, which is a lovely spring shade for people that don't like pastel's.

I applied 2 coats and a top coat, my sister applied only one coat and we both noticed that I really didn't need the second coat as it goes on really well. The scent isn't over powering and my nail's dried quite quick. The only downside was it has quite a large brush, which is ok for all my other nail's apart form my little nail's which I had to use a cotton bud to remove some polish which had gone onto my skin!

I really do love this nail lacquer and will defiantly be purchasing some more shade's, the price £7.99 may be on the overpriced range but as it goes on well and last's I don't mind splashing out the cash!

Do you own any shade's from the Essie Range? Let me know!
