Sephora Instant Moisture Face Mask Review

I was excited to see this product in the reduced section of the Sephora store and was eager to get home and try it out, I brought the item for 5 euros and asked the sale lady why is what reduced and she reassured me it wasn't because it was out of date!

The product comes in a pink and black shaker with four sachets of mask it's extremely easy to use with simple steps to follow. Step one is to add water to the fill line, step two is to add the mixture and shake until a smoothie like texture, step three turn shaker till mixture goes into lid and open, step four add to face and hands for 5 - 10 minutes and voila a simple face mask!

The only downside is the scent of the product is like soap a scent I really dislike it always smells cheap to me so I always have to go for a scented soap. The other downside was you need to shake the mixture for around 10 minutes which makes it hard to enjoy the product after you feel like you have just had a arm workout.

The mask did however refresh and brighten my face leaving it soft and moisturized. I added a night cream to take away the soap scent and did feel the benefits in the morning as my skin felt and looked really good!

I Promise*

I was recently emailed by a company called I Promise who send out small cards with promises on, a cute a chic idea which I immediately fell in love with!

You can choose either a blue or red design and then you pick 3, 5 or 10 promises. If you are struggling with what to write they have a selection of pre made ones you can choose from or little hints of what to write. They come in secret packaging so the surprise is never ruined!

I went for the red design which on the front has a simple I promise, Thoughts not Things written, then as you open up the box it has who it is to and who is it from. I went for three promises and got to pick my own design's for each of the promises so I went for things my mum would like as they had a large selection to choose from. As well as your promises it has a simple written verse which lets the person know what they are and what they mean.

To order the promises the total cost is £9.50 3 promises, £14.50 5 promises and £18.50 for 10 promises, as well as free delivery. They get delivered in a handy letterbox sized envelope so you don't need to sign or collect them.

I was highly impressed with the company and the products that were sent, my mum was extremely happy and almost cried! To order your own Promises here is there website I Promise or you can give them a cheeky follow on Twitter . These gifts are perfect for Valentines day so if you order today they should be in time for the 14th! or they make great birthday or special occasions gifts.

Lush Christmas Penguin Bubble Bar Review

I know it's February and I'm reviewing a Christmas product! But I got this little guy in one of my sets and have only just been able to use him. He is rather adorable with his little orange nose and yellow hands but is his a tough little bubble bar with a lovely lemon olive scent, the scent is the same as the Olive Branch Shower Gel which I'm yet to try but the bubble bar kind of smelt lovely with a nice sweet scent.

I was going to halve my bar but due to storage problems I crumbled the whole thing in, there were a lot of bubbles with this bar and it create a nice blue shade of water. The bubbles were still going strong at the end of my bath and hadn't really gone down which surprised me as I was in the bath for a good 45 minutes, I notice with most bubble bars they die down after 30 minutes or so but this one was great.

It is only available at Christmas and is around the £3.50 mark,  I'm definitely going to re purchase this little man for Christmas 2014!

#BloggersWLW Week Five

Today's post I'm going to take you down memory lane to take a look through my weight in pictures, I've always been chubby and I've never been skinny even as a small child I was always quite adventurous and had almost a boy's body.

This photo was taken when I was on holiday and had started getting a belly and chunky legs, I was 13 in this photo and around a size 10-12 which is quite normal I think and my aim to to get back to this weight and back into a size 10.

This was me at my mum's wedding and I was a bridesmaid, at this point I was 16 years old and I was a size 16 so in three years I had gone up three dress sizes and was a lot larger then most of my family members. I was uncomfortable with my weight but instead of doing something about it I kept eating.

This is a photo of me on my 18th birthday, I had managed to stay at a size 16 but my clothes were getting to small and I was pushing a size 18. I was in deep depression and comfort eating which at this point my weight piled on.

And this is my latest photo a size 20 and 22 years old.

I hope this post was interesting, Have you lost much this week?

What's in My Bag

I've seen a lot of video's and post's for the What's in My Bag and thought I would give it ago, I don't have a really expensive bag for my everyday use as I found the perfect one and size in Primark for around £10 and have been using it for around 6 months now. It looks quite small but it's rather large inside and has two handy straps a short version if you fancy holding it on your arms or a longer strap for over your shoulder, It also comes with a large zip up pocket to hold any small items.

In  my bag I have a purse again from Primark which is the same material and has the same gold features but it has a large bee on the front which I love. I also carry my gloves that I brought from H&M to stop my hands from getting to cold, and to keep myself organised I carry my Kimmidoll 2014 diary.

I have my phone and ipod to keep myself amuse if I'm travelling or waiting around, I also have my Nuxe Reve Di Miel Lip balm as winter hates my lips and always effects them badly so I need to carry around a good and powerful lip balm. I also have my house key with a few cute key chains on.

Lastly I have a roller ball perfume, a hair brush and a few hair products and my hand cream, these products are always in there as an emergency incase I forget my perfume or my hair goes wrong. The hand cream is there incase the one I use in the morning isn't strong enough and I get cracked hands.

So there we go I hope you enjoyed having a mooch through my hand bag!

Essie Jam and Jelly Review

While in Paris I picked up two Essie Nail Lacquers one of them being Jam and Jelly a bright happy fuchsia, I paid 5 Euros as it was in the 50% off sale at Galeries Lafayette.

The shade in the bottle looks a lot lighter in the bottle but once applied to the nails it's quite a deep rich pink almost a red, I did apply two coats so it did appear a bit darker. It went on well and dried quite quickly, once dried I notice it has a nice shimmery shade to it which I really liked.

It lasted me around 5 days which is good for a nail varnish and I found it didn't chip as much as most nail varnishes any a few chips here and there.
