MAC Oil Control Lotion

When I shop in MAC it's normally to buy make up and not skincare but I decided to browse the stand whilst I was in the airport and came away with a tube of there oil control lotion. I picked up a 30ml tube which cost me £10, which is a little on the pricey side but I wanted to try out the product so decided to just go for it.

St Ives Apricot Scrub

I've been using this scrub for the last month now and absolutely love it, I'm not a massive fan of face scrubs but I got this one to try out at the OxMeet and thought I would give it ago. It's an apricot scrub which exfoliates the skin to tone and firm it to make it look renewed. It's available in a 150ml for £3.99 at Superdrug and Boots.

The scent is very fresh with hint of apricot which is the reason I love it so much, the texture is gritty as it has exfoliating beads in but while applying I don't really feel them to much but I do feel them working which is great. It's easy to apply as you just rub a bit onto your fingers and then rub onto your face and any other problem areas, then rinse with warm water.

I noticed my face looked a lot brighter and fresher in the mornings and I also noticed how easy it was to apply my make up. My skin seems to have cleared as well as I had a few acne scars and a few blemishes but the scrub has help a bit with that. The tube has also lasted me ages as it's been a month of me using it pretty much every day but I still have around half a tube left which is great.

They have a massive range of scrubs on offer and I can't wait to try them out, what's your favorite face scrub?

Sephora Instant Moisture Face Mask Review

I was excited to see this product in the reduced section of the Sephora store and was eager to get home and try it out, I brought the item for 5 euros and asked the sale lady why is what reduced and she reassured me it wasn't because it was out of date!

The product comes in a pink and black shaker with four sachets of mask it's extremely easy to use with simple steps to follow. Step one is to add water to the fill line, step two is to add the mixture and shake until a smoothie like texture, step three turn shaker till mixture goes into lid and open, step four add to face and hands for 5 - 10 minutes and voila a simple face mask!

The only downside is the scent of the product is like soap a scent I really dislike it always smells cheap to me so I always have to go for a scented soap. The other downside was you need to shake the mixture for around 10 minutes which makes it hard to enjoy the product after you feel like you have just had a arm workout.

The mask did however refresh and brighten my face leaving it soft and moisturized. I added a night cream to take away the soap scent and did feel the benefits in the morning as my skin felt and looked really good!

Balance Me Radiance Face Mask Review

This product was really surprising, I was excepting a light hydrating mask but it turned out to be quite harsh and really scrubbed at my skin. It's a great little mask though, as you only need it on for 5 minutes it's perfect as a everyday mask.

The smell was really fresh and had a quite a nice spring smell to it, the texture was rough but once scrubbed in it was almost transparent. I did noticed a difference in my skin after using it for about 10 day's. My blemishes seemed to calm down and my skin had a nice little glow to it.

For a full sized product it cost's £18 which is rather expensive, but if you can afford to spend that much on a mask then I would 100% recommend this product to you.

Have you tried this mask or have any dupes worth looking at? Let me know!

Lush Cosmetic Warrior Face Mask Review

For a 21 year old I think I must have a typical 16 year old face! I get awful breakout's and get some nasty red blemish's. So I have gone on the hunt recently for a good face mask to use in the evening once or twice a week.

The best one so far out of all the one's I've tired has to be Lush's Cosmetic Warrior which is priced at £5.95, as it's made with all fresh ingredient's it only last's a month. The main ingredient's are Kaolin, Fresh Grapes, Garlic, Egg's, Honey, Cornstarch and Tea Tree Oil, As it is a fresh mask you must store it in the fridge.

The smell is quite strong as it's smell really fresh and almost like as outdoor smell, when I put it on my face it does smell really strong but once I wash it off it doesn't linger which is great, I have to apply the mask quite thick but when putting it on my face it feel's so cooling and I can feel it attacking my spot's straight away!

I found using it for around two weeks cleared my skin nicely and it started to work on leaving my red blemishes faded, this is a great product for anyone with spot prone skin.

So do you have any great face mask's I can try? Please leave some suggestion's below!
