Lifestyle - 11 Things Tag

I love a good tag so was really happy to be tagged by Lena Hedges over at www.forayintofashion.com, I've heard a lot about this tag and couldn't wait to answer the questions. The way it works is that I answer questions that I've been asked by the person who has tagged me before asking my own 11 questions to another group of bloggers.

So here are my answers!

1. Who would play you in a film of your life? Someone quite sarcastic yet funny so maybe Melissa McCarthy as she has quite a lot of sass yet she is so funny at doing what she does best.
2. If you could live in any soap, which would it be and why? I would live in Hollyoaks as it seems to dramatic and there's always so kind of drama going on, as well as the blokes are quite fit!
3. If you could change one trait about yourself which would it be? I would change my weight and make myself skinny as it's taking so long to do myself
4. What is your day job and would you give it up to write full time if offered the opportunity? I work in retail and would jump as the opportunity to become a full time blogger as working in retail is so stressful but being a blogger would be just sitting in my own home in my pjs and doing what I love best
5. What do you not like about blogging? Writers block is the worse! or when you write a great post and don't press the save button, luckily blogger prompts you but it still makes me heart drop a little
6. What has been the happiest day of your life so far? When my little brother was born and then later at my mums wedding he hadn't seen me all day and when I finally got to see him as a little baby around (6 months) he did the hugest smile at me like he knew who I was and was missing me!
7. Do you play any sports? I don't , I never really liked them at school so never carried on when I left
8. What is your favorite item of clothing? Atm it's my geo printed jeans but as fashion changes so much who knows what it will be next week
9. If you wrote a book would it be fact or fiction? I've actually written one but never had the guts to send it off to any company's but it's a fiction
10. Who is your favorite person from history? Surprisingly it's Hitler I'm so fascinated by him and why he was such a killer that it's made him my favorite person
11. Which colour means to most to you and why? I love the colour red as it was my favorite growing up and then it just stuck, so if I reach for a colour or see something I'm drawn to it will more then likely be red

The Five Word Make Up Tag

While browsing some blogs tonight I found a great tag and as I enjoy doing them I thought I would give it a go. It is over on Chloe's blog and it's called The Five Word Make Up Tag and here's the idea :

• List your favorite make up products and describe why you like them in 5 words
• At least one product for each category: Eyes, Lips and Face
• Phrases such as 'high coverage' count as one word - if you were just to say 'high' it would be pretty vague and so use a phrase where you see fit, another example being 'Long Lasting' being one word.

I love a good tag! I spied this one on a few blogs and thought I would join in, it's all about Lipsticks!

How many lipsticks do you own?
12 so far

What was the first lipstick you owned?
The first one I brought myself was a pink sparkly shade from MUA

What is your favorite lipstick brand?
I love MACs collection as they have so many and they always do such nice matte and sheen ones

What is your most worn lipstick?
It would be my MAC Coral Bliss as it's my daily lipstick

What is your favorite finish?
I prefer a sheen finish

What was the last lipstick you brought?
I haven't brought one for a while so I think it was my MAC Candy Yum Yum

How many lip products are there in your bag?
I have three my MAC Coral Bliss, Nuxe Reve Di Miel and Yu Be lip balm

What is your favorite red lip colour?
It would be my Jelly Pong Pong Lip Blush

How do you store your lipsticks?
In a GlossyBox along with all my other lip products

What lipsticks are you currently lusting after?
It would be MAC's Ruby Woo

The Liebster Award

Today I was tagged by Lisa to say I had been nominated for The Liebster Award , I've done a tag before like this The Versatile Award and really enjoy them!

What is the Liebster Award?

• Basically this award is for the Newbie bloggers given by other bloggers.
• You basically nominate a certain amount of people by tagging them in your post about the award. These people are who you have enjoyed visiting on their blogs. You then tell them a little about yourself by answering a few questions then they nominate their favourites (it is basically like a chain letter) and so on.
•  The word “liebster” is originated from Germany and has several definitions:- dearest, sweetest, kindest, nicest, beloved, lovely, kind, pleasant, valued, cute, endearing, welcome, sweetheart .

1. What three words describe you best and why? I would say funny, cute and shy, As I'm quite the joker of the group and I'm very small and always get told I'm cute as well as being very shy.
2. Who inspired you to start blogging? That would be Zoe and Louise from Zoella and Sprinkle of Glitter
3. What what your most funniest moment? It was probably when attending the AW13 show in Birmingham I sat in the paid seats and not the one's I was suppose to seat in!
4. If you could choose one superhero, who would you be and why? I would be Iron (wom)man so I could still lead a normalish life. 
5. What do your friends and family say about you blogging? I've not really told many people as I feel it something I want to do by myself and keep private as most my friends are mums and wouldn't get it and my family would try to take over!
6. What made you smile today? Weighing myself and being 3 pounds down!
7. If you could give bloggers advice, what would it be? To not get hooked on certain trends and waste your money where there are better products that will save you time and money
8. What is the most embarrassing song you love to listen to?  I don't really listen to any embarrassing songs but I am hooked on What does the fox say
9. What quote do you love to abide by? 'A hangover is something that occupies the head you neglected to use last night'
10. Where do you want to be in 10 years time? I would love to have a family and be married in my own home, I also want to run my own shop or a B&B
11. If you could choose a culture, which would it be and why? I would love to live in Spain and follow there culture they always seem so loving and care free

Halloween Tag!

I love doing tags I think its a great way to get to know the person behind the blog, so this one is all about Halloween! Hope you enjoy!

Do you still Trick or Treat?
No I don't as I'm 22 would be a bit odd!

Do you like going to haunted attractions?
I've never really been to any, I went to Warwick Castle on Halloween week once and it was quite fun

Favourite Halloween movie?
I like the remake of Halloween which Rob Zombie did and I also like the film Trick or Treat which was loads of small horror stories

Favorite costume you wore as a child?
Well I always dressed up as a witch as a child so a witch I suppose

A costume you would like to dress up as if you could go back to your childhood?
A zombie!

Do you decorate your house for Halloween?
We don't but we do pumpkin carving and I usually make cookies

What are your plans for this years Halloween?
I'm going out with some friends as Vampires, and I will be pumpkin carving with my little brother

Do you ever dress up your pet (if you don't have a pet, what would you dress it up as if you did have one)?
We had a cat and I think I may have lost a hand if I tried to dress her up!

What was the worst thing you were given when Trick or Treating?
I only went a few times and was always given nice things!

Favorite thing about Halloween?
It would be the pumpkin carving and dressing my little brother up as well as it reminds me of Autumn which is one of my favorite months.

Make Up Tag

So today I thought I would do the Make Up Tag, I saw it on Caroline's Blog and thought it would be great to do, so here goes!

How many times do you wash your face daily?

Twice, In the shower in the morning and then just before bed
 

What skin type do you have? (dry, oily or combination)

 I have combination, I have an oily forehead and chin and they dry around my cheeks and nose

What is your current facial wash?

My tea tree and witch hazel set from Boots, It cleans my face well but also works to clear spots

Do you exfoliate?

I do around once a week

What moisturiser do you use? 

Atm it's Vaseline Spray and Go, but it's always changing

Do you have freckles?

I have some very light one's around my nose and cheeks

Do you use eye cream?

Not right now as my eyes are still young looking

Do you or did you have acne prone skin?

Yes! My skin is awful, I wouldn't call it acne but it's pretty bad

Did you ever use ProActiv?

No, I've heard of it but just never used it!

What foundation do you use?

A few MUA's BB cream, MAC's Studio Sculpt and Body Shop's foundation 

How about concealer?

Collection 200 Lasting Perfection

 

Do you know your undertone colour?

I would say yellow but that is just a guess

What do you think of fake eyelashes?

I've never really tried them, as I have glasses I don't see the point

Did you know that you are supposed to change your mascara every 3 months?

Yes, I'm due a change!

What brand of mascara do you use?

Natural Collection as they have the best brown shade and Jelly Pong Pong's Fairy Lashes

Sephora or Mac?

MAC I'm yet to try any Sephora products

Do you have a MAC Pro-Card?

No but I use my Debenhams card whenever I shop there 

What make-up tools do you use in make-up application?

Just brushes from Primark and my fingers

Do you use make-up base/primer for the eyes?

I use my MUA Primer

What is your favourite eye shadow? (Colour or Shade)

I love my MUA's palettes I'm addicted to a grey sparkly colour 

Do you use pencil or liquid eye-liner?

Pencil

How often do you poke your eyes with an eye liner pencil?

Lol not to often!

What do you think of pigment eye shadows?

They look great I just can't apply them to myself

What is your favourite lipstick?

MAC's Coral Bliss and Rebel

How about lip gloss? 

I've not really got a favorite, I use my baby lips quite a lot

What is your favourite blush?

Rimmell's Live Pink
 

Do you buy make-up on e-bay?

No I'm scared I will get a scam product

Do you like drug store make-up?

Yes  I used it most days

Do you go to CCO's? (Cosmetic Company Outlets)

I can't seem to find any or I miss them all

Did you ever consider taking make-up classes?

No, I just cheat and go to my local MAC to get some lessons

Are you clumsy in putting on make-up?

No I'm quite good

Name a make-up crime that you hate?

To much is to much!!! You don't need eyeshadow, blusher, falses, lipsticks and big eyes all at the same time

Do you like colourful shades of make-up (lipstick, eye shadow) or neutral tones?

I prefer neutral tones I think they suit me better

Which celebrity always has great make-up?

I like Emma Watsons make up

If you could leave the house with just ONE Make-up item, what would you use?

MUA's BB cream

Could you ever leave the house without any make-up on?

No!

Do you think you look good even without any make-up on?

Not really no =/

My First Time Tag

I was tagged to do the My First Time by Jai , this tag is not what you think at first but there are some great questions! so here goes:

First Best Friend
My first best friend was when I was in primary school and she was called Kerry, we were best friend's mainly due to the fact we looked like each other and everyone called us twins. We hung out loads but then when I moved we lost contact, until Secondary school when we realised that we didn't actually like each other as much as we thought!

First Kiss
It was at a gig and it was my best friends brother, awkward times at school the next day.

First Concert
It was either Busted or Mcfly, I was into pop music when I was younger so I saw Mcfly around 5 times. My first gig was a Tower's of London one, when I phoned there drummer (he left his number on myspace!) and he let me in for free as I didn't have tickets!

First Celebrity Crush
Oh a hard one! I think it was Gerard Way for music and films it was Alan Rickman.

First Word
I'm hoping Mummy or Daddy

First Pet
It would of been my hamster pepper, he was brought in a group of three with his brother and sister but in the end they kept fighting and we had to separate them.

Working in Iceland, the supermarket not the country!

90's Kid Tag

I wasn't actually tagged for this but thought it was such a great little post I had to give it a try, I saw it on ! Zoe - Lianne x! 's blog and then had a little look around and found some great post's by some bloggers as well as Youtube video's on the tag, I'm surprised I've only just found it!

Favorite Toys?
I loved playing with dolls and Barbies, I also got into Pokemon and pogs as a child, I remember having loads as a child and collecting the stickers for my Pokemon sticker book. I have kept one barbie who was my absolute favorite and now that i'm 22 they still no chance of me giving her up!

Favorite Adverts?
I used to love the adverts for the child shows and when it was around christmas time and Toy's R Us would bring out adverts I could spend hours watching them and writing little christmas lists.

N'Sync or Backstreet Boys?
If I had to choose it would be Backstreet Boys, although for me it was all about the girl bands!

Weirdest Fashion Trend?
I remember the little bands or shag bands but not sure if they were 90's or 00's, I was always in flared trousers and I had a bubble coat lol imagine wearing one of those now!

Favorite Collectable?
It would have to be my Pokemon stickers, I used to spend hours swapping with friends and going through my little book. I have no idea what happened to it =[ I would love to of kept it really neat and clean so I could have it now.

Favorite Beanie Baby?
I remember only owning one little Beanie and it was the pig, I'm sure I had more but this one just sticks out for me. I love the classic Beanie, when I worked in a Toy Shop we had the newer range and it just wasn't the same.

How many Tamagochi's did you go through?
Haha great question! Me and my 2 sister's all had one each and I think at the end of the little craze there was around 10-15 going about the house.

Favorite game system and game?
I'm sure this was 90's but it was Sega and it was Sonic the Hedgehog, I used to spend ages playing and collecting the gold coins!

Favorite Disney Movie?
Beauty and the Beast! I adore the story and it's the only Disney film I can sit through without getting bored.

Favorite music artist?
wow, just one erm it would have to be The Spice Girls!

Favorite game?
I was a really outdoor kid and pretty much spent my childhood outside, so if breaking into derelict buildings was a game then I pretty sure I would of won each time!

Favorite Mcdonalds happy meal toy?
 I don't really have a favorite =/ I haven't collected anything from there and I can't remember any of the toys I got from the 90's

Favorite Book?
I remember having a book called Jessica, and I loved it. I'm pretty sure I still have it somewhere. The story if I remember correctly was about a naughty girl, which I think it was made my mum buy it as it reminder her of me!

Favorite clothing store?
This is a hard one as my mum brought all my clothes until I was old enough to go of the New Look on my own. I'm sure it was places like Tammy and the company with the apple logo.

Favorite TV shows?
I had loads! I use to love Rugrats, Tots TV, Arnold, Arthur =]

Favorite sweets/snack?
I used to love buying things like Fruit Salad, Black Jacks(i think that it was they were called), Pick a Mix, Bubblegum.
