I'm always looking at protecting my lips and using the latest lip products which claim to be the best, so whilst I was browsing my local Superdrug I came across the Kate Moss Lip Conditioning Balm which looks very much like a lip stick but it's a balm instead. At just £5.49 it is a bit on the pricey side but I managed to get it on offer being free when I spent £8 or more on other Rimmel products.

Spring and Summer 2015 - Lips
I'm back with another Spring and Summer post but this time for Lips, as I'm a massive fan of lip product and wear one everyday I thought I would share with you the ones which will be getting the most action over the next few months before we head back into winter. I have picked my top five products which range from lipsticks to balms and have a great selection of high street products all at affordable prices.
First up is a lip gloss from the Tanya Burr range and that's the Picnic in the Park one as it's the perfect summery gloss shade that goes with pretty much all outfits. I don't tend to wear many glosses as I don't like when my hair gets suck it in but as it's summer my hair is normally scrapped back into a high top bun meaning I can get away with it. The thing I love about the product is the scent as it's a lovely fruity scent which makes the product a lot more desirable, I also love the texture and how it almost moisturises the lips as well as the overall look off the gloss as it's a lovely summery pink shade. To pick one up there available in Superdrug at only £6.99.
Next up is a lipstick from the Topshop range and it's Ohh La La which is my most raved about dupe of MAC's Morange and I always love when Spring hits as I know I can whip this baby out! It's such a lovely shade of orange and makes the face look fab when it's being worn, I find it goes best with plain outfits and adds the right amount of pop to make the outfit look great. It's also a really nice moisturising and pampering product as it goes on so softly and really nourishes the lips which I always love. The lipsticks in Topshop cost £8 so are a little pricey but there really worth the price.
I will be mositrising my lips loads over the summer months so I have picked out one that I know works great and will keep my lips in perfect working order and that's Carmex . Which is a fab high street lip balm which is really strong and perfect for protecting sensitive lips in the summer sun. I love how it makes my lips really pampered and give them a nice nourished look while keeping them protected and safe against the sun, to pick one up there available from most beauty stores from around the £2 mark which is a great purse friendly price to pay.
Another great product to use to protect my lips is the Lip Roll On by The Body Shop I normally use this product when I'm after a lip product to protect my lips but also cool them down. As the little metal applicator is perfect for cooling and leaving the lips feeling soft in an instant. Last year I over used my orange one as the scent is lovely and fresh so this year i'm hoping they bring out some more and have new scent to try out as it would be a massive shame if they stopped doing them! To pick one up there only £4 which is a great price to pay.
Lastly I have gone for a product from the Sleek range and that's the pout polish in the shade Bare Minimum. It's a lovely barely there product which kind of plumps up the lips to add a little bit of colour and texture but doesn't do to much to make them look like they have product on which I love when I have a particularly bright outfit on or want a more down to earth basic look. The pots are really easy to store and great to have in hand bags and in summer i normally have at least one floating about in my bag, I find they nourish the lips quite well and smooths them out nicely while having a really nice scent about them, to pick one up visit Boots and buy one for just £4.49.
So that's it for my lip products, what one will you be lusting after this S/S?

Christmas Lips!
I recently did a Christmas nail post so thought I would also share what I'll be wearing on my lips this month over the Christmas period!
Carmex
I always get cracked and dry lips in winter as I always get colds, so I always need a really nice protecting lip product and this year I've been reaching for Carmex as it works really well against cracked dry lips but also adds a nice shine to the lip while having a nice subtle hint of honey which I really love.
Tanya Burr - Exotic Island
The lipgloss I've been lusting over has been the Tanya Burr Exotic Island as it add a lovely subtle rose hint to my lips while caring for them. It also has such a lovely scent to it that I'm always re applying and over using the product.
MAC - Rebel
When going for meals and events is always easy for me to reach for a more subtle lipstick but over the last few weeks I've been using my MAC Rebel lipstick which is a gorgeous deep dark purple which is perfect for anyone wanted to pull off a more edgy look this year.
Bellapierre - Mandarina
This shade of deep orange is perfect to add a pop of colour to an outfit I'm always reaching for it when I'm having a down day as I find it brightens up my face nicely and is perfect for trips out and about or even as an evening lipstick.
So those are my top picks for wintery Christmas lips this year, let me know what lipstick your lusting over this year!

MAC Rebel
This product I wore last year pretty much everyday and I adore it, I wouldn't say it is easy to wear in summer so it tends to say away till my woolly hats come out then it's permanently out and about. It's a lovely rich deep purple shade that last's for ages on the lips, you can buy it in Debenhams, House Of Fraser and other departments store's for £15.50.
Jelly Pong Pong Cranberry
This red shade in my go to product when I'm out drinking it's a lovely matte red which last's a good while on the lips but also moisturisers them really well which I love, it's only available in two shades online from the Jelly Pong Pong website for £12.
Tanya Burr Exotic Island
This AW for lip gloss I'm going to be wearing my Tanya Burr Exotic Island as it's a great berry shade with I think would look good for meals out and events, it has a lovely scent and doesn't have a sticky residue on the lips which I love, it's available from Superdrug for £6.99.
Vaseline Paint The Town Red
For when my lips need a pamper and a bit of a rest I'm going to be using my Vaseline Paint The Town Red lip butter as it's the perfect pick me up product with a hint of red to create a nice subtle winter look, it was a limited edition but I'm sure it's back in stores like Boots and Superdrug for around £2.99.

Lip Smacker Review
This month has taken a toll on my lips making them chapped and sore so I was after a new lip balm so I was excited to receive Lip Smacker as one of my Christmas present's. It's a brand I have heard of before but never got round to buying or even seeing in the shops so I was surprised to get them as a gift. The set I got was the Coca-Cola set which includes six lip balms all different flavours.
The set included Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola Vanilla, Coca-Cola Cherry, Sprite, Fanta Orange and Fanta Strawberry. I was really surprised as all the lip balms smelt like the actually drinks which was great. They go on really well and are quite moisturising, they last for around two hours before the need to reapply. I was quite happy with this gift and was really pleased to get it.
The set's cost around £12 but you can get them individually for around £3, I've heard they are in Claires but I'm yet to take a look as it's not a shop I go in.

Blogmas Day Fifteen- Lush Santa's Lip Scrub
Welcome to day Fifteen! Only 10 more day until Christmas how exciting! Today's post is all about a lip scrub I'm addicted to, the Lush Santa's Lip Scrub.
The scent is lovely as it's cola flavoured and its comes in a lovely red colour, there are also some adorable little red hearts on the top of the scrub which you can stick onto your lips using a balm. They way the scrubs work is you place some onto your lips and scrub away until the sugar dissolves, don't worry if it doesn't as you can always lick it of. You are then left with lovely soft kissable lips.
I love this product as it works really well on my lips and is quite affordable at £5.50.
