Fashion | Burgundy Skirt

When it comes to a mini skirt I'm always first to say no thanks however I have been trying to push myself more and more when it comes to plus size fashion so finding a lovely skirt in Primark for £8 it was a must that I bought it. The really nice cord style of this skirt really drew me in as I remember growing up and loving this effect so it really bought me back to the past and the gorgeous burgundy autumn look was really perfect for this skirt.

Fashion - Brown Flared Capri's

I'm always looking at ways to introduce more fashion into my wardrobe so whilst I was shopping I spotted some lovely trousers that I fell in love with, normally I would keep walking as I never like to buy things that are not in my normal comfort zone however I picked them up with the intention of just trying on.

Fashion | Stepping Out Of My Comfort Zone

When you think of a crop top you wouldn't normally picture a plus size girl wearing one and you may also give a dirty look to someone wearing one in public, however when I saw one in New Look and it was in the middle of a heatwave I wasn't going to pass at the chance of stepping out of my comfort zone and wearing a crop top.

When it comes to fashion I would class myself as not fashionable at all but this year I wanted to branch out and try new things, so I pushed myself to try to dreaded double denim! This trend is very hit and miss, you either get it right and look amazing or get it wrong and look a fool.

Amsterdam - Outfits

I'm currently in Amsterdam right now but wanted to schedule a few posts for you to enjoy while I'm away so today I've got my outfits that I'm taking with me and also what I'm travelling in. I wanted to go with quite late winter spring outfits so there quite dark and contain a lot of black but I love each of these outfits so here is my first one which is my travel outfit and what I wore on the flight:

Geo Print Trousers

For me stepping out of my comfort zone with fashion doesn't happen a lot, so when I was in New Look browsing there Inspire range 18-32 sized range I spotted some trouser and thought I need them. But then I thought no there far to daring and with this print people will look at me and stare so I left the store. After a few days of thinking about them I just thought screw it I'm going to buy a pair but to my horror they were out of stock!

So I decided to do what I normally don't do and order them, I'm not a fan of ordering online as you never know the condition the product may reach you in or if they will actually turn up but New Look has impressed me a lot with there ordering service. I went in store and they took my details and payment and that was that, I got told 2-3 working days and they shall be here.

How To Deal With Summer When Your Curvy

I've never really done a blog post on being curvy or overweight before apart from my monthly weigh ins and how my diet is going, so today I wanted to do a post of dealing with the summer sun and being overweight. As I'm currently in the middle of my diet my dress size is now 18 but I have gone up to a size 22 and last year I was that size so I feel like I can give a few good tips on dealing with the summer stresses.

For me fashion has always been one of those you have to be skinny in order to wear nice clothes but recently I have had a more healthy attitude of buying clothes that suit my figure and not given a rats ass if there brightly coloured or shape me. I was always one to wear black and hide behind my clothes but as I'm typing this post I'm sat in a pastel green dress in the garden showing of my curves, I feel like I have grown to love my size so I'm able to wear pretty clothes. One great tip to getting to wear nice clothes is to not shop for a practical item of clothing as I would always do this and when it came to trying on I would come to terms with the fact it didn't suit curvy girls, so instead go for clothing that suits your shape try on as many things as possible and really shop about before making a purchase.

Spring and Summer Lookbook

This summer I have decided to go out of my comfort zone and really make an effort with dressing up and dressing for my figure, most of the week I'm in work clothes which are really not that flattering. So I hope you enjoy this post - please note is it a tad bit photo heavy!

The Dresses
I am a bit of a lover of dresses and have a few that I wear none stop when the sun comes out, I suit more skater style dresses and love to accessorize with cute pieces of jewelry and adorable summer bags.

Jeans in Summer! 
Yes I'm that girl you see sweating it out in jeans in the summer my main reason is my legs as I most certainly do not love them I tend to hide them. I love to pair my jeans with really cute and girly tops - denim on denim is very in right now and wearing a denim top with a pair of jeans is really cute. I will also be wearing my two favorite skirts which even though there black they are a really light materiel and work nicely in the summer sun.

Pastel Tops with Florals 
I am a sucker for pastel tops and light girly shades in the sun so this year I shall be over wearing some of my favorite floated light and bright tops with my jeans and skirts. I love tops which don't stick to my tummy and show off my lumps and bumps so most of my tops are very big and floaty.

Accessorize The Hell Out Of It
I tend to go a little OTT with adding bits of jewelry and a cute bag or that must have blazer with an outfit and love to layer in spring so here is a look at all the bits I shall be getting out this Summer.
