Lush Halloween Range Goodies!

I'm very late on the bandwagon for the Lush Halloween range, so much so that I only managed to pick up three items one of which I've had before and the other two not in the best condition. However I did pick up a new product and also wanted to share my first impressions with you, so here's what I bought.

Lush | Metamorphosis Bath Bomb

After seeing so many reviews online for the Metamorphosis bath bomb I decided to try it for myself and was not let down. It's a fun and quirky bath bomb that is surprising yet a great purchase, with it's unique design it's one that you can't really miss on the shelves and it doesn't let you down for just £4.50 it won't break the bank either.

Lush | Yellow Submarine Bath Bomb

It's been a while since I've done a Lush review but the last bath bomb I used was to good to not share it, I picked up Yellow Submarine a while ago it is still available for £3.95 however it may be gone soon as it's been up for a while!

Lush Mothers Day Haul

Of course I picked up some goodies from the new Lush range! I went along into store and bought four of the products that really stood out for me. It's not to late to pop into store and picked some up for Mothering Sunday!

Baa Bar
This rather cute looking odd shaped sheep is rather adorable but a little odd to, at first I wasn't sure what it was suppose to be but the name Baa gave it away. It smells amazing of Lavender and Rose which goes so nicely together that this bubble bar may become my favorite. At just £3.95 it's easy to fall in love with the little Baa Bubble Bar.

Lush Honey Bee Bath Bomb

Honey Bee is the type of bath bomb that is overlooked due to people either not liking the look of it or the smell, at just £3.50 it's a great price to pay. The scent of Honey Bee is a mix of honey and orange with a smell of toffee to, it's a very hit and miss product as if you are not a fan of the scent then it's really not worth purchasing the product.

Guardian Of The Forest Lush Bath Bomb

This strong scented green bath bomb is not one I would normally go for but it drew me in from the reviews online, I purchase one and was immediately greeted by an earthly rose oil scent and heavenly tones of lime. It looks just like it smells with earthly tones and citrus hits it's very much a great scented and great looking bath bomb.

Lush Rose Bombshell Bath Bomb

This year Lush have brought out some amazing products for there Mothers Day collection and one of those has been the Rose Bombshell which I picked up recently to try out. It's a very large bath bomb and if it was easy to split you could easily get two baths out of it, for only £3.95 it's a great price for such a great bath bomb.

Lush Frozen Bath Bomb

I had heard about this bath bomb from Lush from quite a few different people so thought I had better pick one up to try it out before it left the Lush stores for good. At £3.95 it's quite expensive as it's a one use only bath bomb, but it is very large so it does make up for being so expensive.

It's themed around the Frozen films so it's a large white and blue bath bomb that looks like a fresh icy blue product to excited and amuse you. The scent was very strong and masculine packed with plenty of oils but some citrus and creme of tartar to, one of the other ingredients was Silver Glimmer Lustre which is almost like a glitter but more of a shimmer to fill the bath.

The water went a deep dark blue and the added shimmer looked very impressive, this was a fast and upbeat bath bomb to start with and then slowly fizzed away while I was relaxing. The swirls of blue and white mixed beautifully and left me feeling relaxed and care free while the bath bomb did all the hard work.

I would love to repurchase this product and hopefully it stays long enough for me to do so! What's your favorite bath product from Lush?

Lush Stardust Bath Bomb

This rather cute star is one of the bath bombs that might get a little ignored in Lush as it looks pretty plain and boring, however it's a bath bomb that works wonders and is rather the opposite of boring! It was from there winter range and is no longer available on the website but it was around £2.95.

Beauty - Lush The Experimenter

All I've seen on people blogs over the last month has been reviews on the Lush bath bomb know as the Experimenter so I was extremely excited to see it at my local store so I could give it a go myself to see what the fuss was about. At £3.95 you get your money worth as the bath bomb is huge so it's well worth the price you pay.

Lush Butterbear Review

In this year's Lush Christmas range they had included a rather adorable little polar bear under the name of Butterbear which was around the £2 mark. This rather cute little bath bomb has any just been used by me and has been a little bit of a meh product if I'm 100% honest, but I thought I would do a review just in case he appeals to anyone else!

The scent is a very mild vanilla and doesn't really leave a lasting impression on the skin but it sweet and subtle enough to be used for kids which is good. The bear is a very face fizzer and takes around a minute to fully dissolve in the water leaving behind a murky clear water and a few small oil spots behind, again this product would be pretty for kids as it's a fun fast fizzer. The product is meant to be a soothing and moisturiser to the skin but I didn't really feel any effect to my skin and was a little disappointed as it hadn't really wowed me with anything else I was hoping it would leave my skin feeling soft and nourished.

Overall I feel this product was aimed at kids and babies and they would get the most use and joy out of the product, it was however a lovely little design and would look great on display!

Lush Northern Lights Review

My first review from this year's Lush range is the impressive Northern Lights a bright and fun looking bath bomb, with floral scents and impressive colours it's hard not to like this bath bomb.

The scent is floral and is quite strong with hints of Jasmine and small hints of citrus which makes it quite a strong scented bath bomb but the scent lingers all day and fills the bathroom which I love as well as staying on the skin all day as well.

The most impressive thing about this bath bomb was the colours which exploded from the bath bomb filling my water with a deep purple. It started with just a blue but after a while the other end of the bath bomb started to dissolve to reveal a greeny yellow which all swirled together to create the deep purple.

As well as the heavenly scent and impressive explosion of colour there was also some adorable little stars which dissolved slowly in the bath and were almost there till the end which was a lovely added touch in the rather grand bath bomb.

To pick up Northern Lights I would do it quickly as it's a limited edition bath bomb it's available online or in store for £3.50!

Zoella Fizz Bar Review

When I heard one of my favorite Youtuber's was releasing a new line of beauty items I was intrigued to see what was in the product line up and was happy to see a mixture of products to keep everyone happy. I was really excited to see a bath product and wanted to try it out but it turned out there was a lot of other people who also wanted to try it out and no matter what store I went into it was sold out, but luckily on a recent browse of my local Superdrug I got my hands on Fizz Bar.

The best thing about the product I found was the light subtle floral scent which lingered in the air after using and soaked into my skin after getting out of the bath making me feel all warm and happy inside. The product is easy to use as you have 8 large chunks which break away easily, I found I needed two chunks for one bath meaning I get 4 uses out of the product which is great for the price you pay.

The package design is nice and simple with the pink polka dot theme which is on most of the products making it stand out from other brands and has a nice clean fresh twist about it, instead of being to in your face like most other brands. It's also very similar to her blog design matching it to Zoella making it seem more like her design and really making the product personal which I like.

To pick up the Fizz Bar for £5 a bargain! It's from selected Superdrug stores the one's I've visited and know stock them are Edinburgh Princes Street, Banbury and Oxford! Have you tried out any of the Zoella Beauty products what were you thoughts?

Granny Takes A Dip Review - Lush

I saw this bath bomb at the Brighton branch last month and picked it up due to it being so colorful and looking like it would impress. I picked it up for £3.25 and it should still be available from stores as I'm pretty sure it wasn't a special or seasonal product.

The scent is quite different it's quite spicy and remind me almost of Christmas with ginger, pepper and lemon it's an odd mix but it goes really well. It's a really warming and uplifting bath bomb which even though it looks really crazy it made me feel really relaxed and happy. It didn't do much for my body other then create the perfect bath, so this bath bomb is more off a shower then a doer.

The bath bomb was really impressive I placed it on top of the water and it just seemed to float there before slowly fizzing away loosing a layer of colour here and a layer of colour there, it was peaceful to watch. After around 10 minute's it has complete dissolved into my bath creating a dark rich purple colour which was calming and soothing.

I love this bath bomb and if I could afford to I would buy a batch of 30! Have you tried it out, what are your thought?

Lush May Day Review

I've had this little beaut sat in my Lush bag for a while now it was a limited edition bath bomb that raised awareness for the anti badger cull charities and that's where all the proceeds went to which was great as it cost £2.95 not to much to break the bank but a nice amount to spend on protecting badgers.

The scent was quite nice it was quite strong with not to much of a sweet smell to it and it was quite earthy which is an odd one but I found it was quite relaxing. It was a fast fizzer which as soon as it was put into my bath started to race around making it hard to snap a photo, but the water went quite a nice cloudy shade with the black on the bath bomb not effecting the water to much.

The bath bomb kind of reminds me of Halloween for some reason maybe it's the scent or the look but I think if Lush brought this out for this Halloween it would probably sell quite well! Did you manged to pick up this limited edition bath bomb? what were your overall thoughts on it?

Lush Inhale Exhale Bath Bomb

I was happy to see a nice small bath bomb in my local Lush as I keep finding all these over the top ones and I wanted something nice and relaxing to pop into my bath. So in comes Inhale Exhale which is a nice relaxing bath bomb with Grapefruit, Lemon and Citrus oils infused with Rose is a nice bath bomb to help you relax.

It left my water a quite a funny colour almost like I was covered in mud and had washed it all off but inside the bomb was a little hand written note which I thought was lovely and a nice surprise!

I noticed it had one side which seemed to fizz rather quick which from the website was the Inhale half and then the Exhale half slowly dissolved making the bath indulgent and making me not want to leave! I found it really relaxed me and even though it had quite a lot of citrus scented oils it was quite a musky almost sexy smelling bath bomb. I would 100% pick this little one up again and for £3.25 it won't break the bank either!

Lush Happy Bubble Bar and Blackberry Bath Bomb Review

I purchased these two products in my online spurge and finally used them in my recent pamper evening, I was extremely impressed with these two especially as they were from the low end budget rather then the more expensive fancy products Happy Bubble Bar was £3.25 and Blackberry Bath Bomb was £2.95.

The Happy Bar smelt really nice almost had a flowery scent to it but also smelt quite fresh and fruity, but it wowed me with the colour it turned the water and the amount of bubbles it created. The water went an incredibly blue almost like I had added a dye to the water instead of a small bubble bar, then the bubbles filled my water I would say it was the most I have had in any Bubble Bar.

I added my Blackberry Bomb to add a scent to the bath as the Happy Bar was impressive for everything else but the scent was lacking something. The Blackberry bar is small but powerful it has such a strong scent when added to water and it seemed to fizz out quite fast leaving you to relax in your bath without a bath bomb hitting your legs.

I loved these two products and will definitely be re purchasing when I do another online order!

Lush Dragon's Egg Review

Oh wow what a great bath bomb! For £3.20 it's a great buy, I picked it up not knowing much about it as a blogger recommended I buy one and I was not let down.

Once you place it into your bath it starts to fizz and dissolve straight away, The first little surprise was some confetti petals which were visible when I picked up the bath bomb so wasn't much of a surprise but was still a lovely touch.

I then left it to swirl about and do it's thing when I noticed is started to produce some orange swirls which was lovely, as well as the citrus scent that came with the orange swirls I was one happy bunny! The scent was amazing though and seemed to get stronger as it dissolved.

The last little surprise was the popping candy ending, I was not excepting my bath to start popping so it was a lovely treat.

I am officially in love with this bath bomb! I think it must be the popping candy as I fell in love with my Fizzbanger Bath Bomb as well!

Lush's Fizzbanger Review

I was so intrigued by the Fizzbanger Bath bomb from Lush that I was happy to not be let down when using it this week!

The first thing was it was super fast around the bath and just kept fizzing from one side to the other, which was great for letting out some amazing bubble's. It also had amazing sweet smell almost like caramel which was lovely as I don't like many caramel smelling product's. I also really enjoyed the popping candy noise which lasted my entire bath! It was really great and just added that extra kick to a really fun bath.

The best thing I loved about it was the colour's. At first I thought it was going to be a normal yellow bath bomb but half way through this lovely deep blue colour came out of the bomb making the water go a fantastic green.

I wouldn't say this was a relaxing product or one to do much to your skin but if you are still a big kid at heart I would 100% buy this product, I can not wait to go back to Lush and pick up a few more. At only £3.20 you can't go wrong!

Lush's Sex Bomb Review

This bath bomb can be awkward to pick up, especially if you are with your parent's or a group of friends! So I was luckily on my own and was able to buy one, at £3.20 it's a great buy.

The smell was amazing and so relaxing, it was really fresh and flowery. It also had a lovely silky feeling to it which stayed on my skin for ages after I had finally gotten out the bath.

It turned my bath water an amazing pink shade and left my bathroom smelling amazing for the rest of the day which I love. Also the lovely little rose in the middle of the bath bomb stayed floating in my bath till I had to pull the plug which was a lovely touch!

I can't wait to repurchase this bath bomb, have you tried it yet? Leave me a link to your review!
