Blogmas Day Thirteen - Christmas Cards

Welcome to day Thirteen of Blogmas! Today I started to write out my cards as I like to send them around a week and a half before Christmas to make sure they arrive on time, the cards I went for are actually from Primark and are price at £1 for a pack of 20 with two designs in each set, I went for a Minnie/Mickey design and a Sesame Street Design.

The designs on the cards are great as they target all ages and are made for males and females so I can write them to all my family rather then getting separate cards for everyone and making it expensive. I love how the Minnie/Mickey designs are quite chic and simply were the Sesame Street designs are quite crazy and bright.

They also include some really cute Christmas messages on the inside which I always like as I never know what to write in cards I prefer to just put the 'to' and 'from' and leave the message to the professionals!

Today in my Boots Beauty Calendar I got Vichy Liftactiv Serum, which is a product I already use so this will come in handy!

Blogmas Day Twelve - Christmas Tree oh Christmas Tree!

Welcome to day Twelve of Blogmas, I can't believe Christmas is now under two weeks away, I've been really busy doing all things Christmas by attended a lunch and dinner and visiting family as well as shopping and decorating the house. A few days ago we decided to put up our Christmas tree which I got a little bit excited about!

The theme we went for is silver and purple with a mixture of plain baubles and fancy ones, we also went for a real tree which we have never done before. Also for the top of our tree we tend to not have the traditional fairy so we opted for a silver dragonfly and a handmade grey owl.

I love putting the tree up and it always becomes such a family event, as well as making Christmas seem just around the corner!

Today in my Boots Beauty Calendar I got Nail Shine Solution, which will come in handy for my damaged nails!

Blogmas Day Eleven - Shopping Haul

Welcome to day Eleven, I'm surprised at how fast Blogmas and December are going today we put up our Christmas tree and I helped decorate it so look out for a Christmas Decoration post coming soon!

I went shopping a few days ago and picked up a few goodies to treat myself and thought I would share them with you! The first stop I went to was Debenhams to have a look at there Black Friday items and came across perfumes which were VAT free so I picked up One Direction Our Moment perfume for £17.41 instead of £21. I love the scent of the perfume as its quite flowery and girly as well a being quite sweet.

I then headed into Superdrug where I picked up a new blusher from the Sleek range as its slowly becoming my favorite I picked up Pixie Pink. I also picked up three Maybelline product is the 3 for 2 offer I picked up some foundation, a brow mascara and a master duo eye liner.

After I headed into Body Care to pick up a new pumice stone as my one was getting a little tatty and a new deo, I went for Right Guard as I had heard a lot of good things about the brand.

Today in my Boots Beauty Calendar I got Ghost Fragrance sample, another new perfume I haven't tried before!

Blogmas Day Ten - Lush Bombardino

Welcome to day Ten of Blogmas, today is another Lush review of the lovely Bombardino for only £2.50 its a great product!

This product is rather cute with his little cocoa drop eyes and little swirl of white hair you can't really go wrong, the scent is quite mild but its smell quite citrusy and like lemon. The main attraction of this bath bomb is the lovely colour its turns out, it goes a gold/yellow shimmery colour which I loved!

I loved how this bath bomb was a slow fizzer so it bobbed around the bath for a a good few minutes, it's also quite soothing for the skin I found I didn't really need to use any body butter after getting out the bath so thats always a plus!

Today in my Boots Beauty Calendar I go Orly Bonder Base Coat, which I can't wait to use!

Blogmas Day Nine - Lush Red Lipstick

Welcome to day Nine of Blogmas, in my house at the moment everything has gone all Christmassy as all the decorations have gone up and we have started our family meals and work meals. Today's post is all about a lipstick I adore and think is perfect for Christmas.

Lush have a great range known as Emotional Brilliance where you pick three colours from a colour wheel and they all mean different things like your strength or weakness. I picked up a really deep red for £14.50 which is really expensive but it is a great product, to apply it to your lips you have a sponge applicator which reallys great, the colour goes on really deep and stays on nicely for around 3-5 hours.

As well as lipsticks they do make up for eyes and cheeks as well as doing foundation, I was really impressed with the range and hopefully will be purchasing some more soon!

Today in my Boots Beauty box I got Seventeen Supreme Shine Nail Varnish, which i've used the brand before and love there collection!

Blogmas Day Eight -Lush Shoot For The Stars Review

Welcome to day Eight of Blogmas one of the first of a few Lush reviews!

This bath bomb was such a peaceful one, it seemed to take ages to completely fizz out and all the colours were fantastic swirling around the bath, I was really impressed with this product.

The scent was like toffee's or caramel which I would normally avoid but it was quite a mild scent so I pick it up, it lasted on my skin for ages even after my morning shower which I just loved. The colours were amazing the blue mixed with the yellow swirled around and then right at the end a really deep red came fizzing out and created a really nice colour in my bath.

For £3.25 this bath bomb is definitely worth picking up!

Today in my beauty calendar I got a Umberto Ginannini hair tie which looks lovely!

Blogmas Day Seven - Wrapping Paper

Welcome to day Seven of Blogmas, a week in and its been fun so far, today's post is all about wrapping paper,This year I wanted to go for a simple but cute design for wrapping my gift so I went along to Paper Chase to have a look at there gift wrap section and came away with a lovely Gold Paper for £3.50 and some gold ribbon for £2.

First I wrapped my gift a great little tip is to not cut of to much paper just cut enough to cover the gift otherwise you will have to wrap the gift loads of times and the paper with go all bubbly and crinkled. I would also suggest getting your sellotape ready and cut a small piece of each time you use it.

Next I had to tie my ribbon and curl the bow, to curl the bow use some scissors and gently pull along the ribbon on the none shinny side!

And voila prezzies are all wrapped and looking good!

Today in my Boots Beauty Calendar I got a Paco Robanne Black XS fragrance sample, a scent I've never tried before so I was excited to see it.
